  My parents were mentally and physically abusive to me (CPS was called to our house multiple times and my father was on a registry with the state). I truly did not understand what was happening to me and my feelings until I was in my mid 20s. Deprogramming from abuse takes time.

  I’m not suing you were abused or your situation is similar to mine, I’m just trying to illustrate that even when you logically look at things, your emotional feelings may not match up right away.

  Gen Z men that fall for the machismo of “hustling” just can’t conceptualize the amount of financial difference between them and their idols. Get him something he can work towards making a hobby and hope that you can talk to him about why he thinks the way he does; listen and try to empathize and offer him an alternative solution to what he has forged for himself.

  It’s utterly shocking that RS is still going… everything about the game has not aged well in any sense and yet there’s still 50K people who still play that trash at a time.

  I’m a cis-bi man married to a cis-gay man: I had to tell him to sit his ass on the toilet to piss because the area around the toilet was constantly filthy. I cannot believe still to this day how difficult it was to convince him why it is a good idea to just sit down to piss. If you cannot control the stream direction and shape perfectly when you piss (spoiler alert, you cannot), then sit down where you can spray the toilet bowl.

  I quit RuneScape in 2011ish after squeal of fortune introduced legacy loot. I’m sorry, but for a game that was all about 100% completion, making loot legacy and unobtainable if you didn’t gamble for it was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

  Doctors are not individual practitioners and cannot decide to go off on their own doing a procedure that they were not specifically trained to do (doctors are trained in procedures during their residency and in CTE). Unless they are offered a course in a new method, the hospital would not authorize them to perform that new procedure.
