Well we are post Internet now, so discovering things and sharing them has flown out the window.
I’m not seeing a difference between chest emulators and being able to mod the game
- Comment on Microsoft reportedly estimated that Game Pass led to $300 million in lost sales of Black Ops 6, with 82% of copies sold being on the Game Pass-less PlayStation 5 2 days ago:
This is the same math they’ve been using to claim massive losses from piracy, for decades
- Comment on It’s time for game developers to bring back the cheat code 2 days ago:
Original chest codes were used for testing the game. Now they have a dev console - which in many games can be used to cheat. I don’t get this nostalgia for cheat codes, you can just mod most games now to do whatever you want.
Accessibility settings don’t need to be hidden. That defeats the purpose of them.

… That’s literally what happened. He gave them an exercise to be the assholes they always wanted to be, in public. And for that they don’t care what he does, as to them, he’s a reflection of themselves.

- Comment on More lawmakers say they're rejecting paychecks as government shutdown drags on 5 days ago:
Pretty sure sound alike you’re making an assumption. One you’d be entirely wrong about. They slapped this garbage bill down, said vote this diarrhea through or we blame you for shutting down the government.
You think Republicans leaving town before even discussing the budget bill with the Democrats has nothing to do with the Republicans shutting down the government?
Or are you on the Republicans are blocking the release of the Epstein files train, by dismissing can Congress now that they have enough votes? At least you’d be right about Republicans protecting pedophiles at the expense of a functioning government.
And you leave because I made sense and you have no rebuttal.

Do commemorative clings not count as
April 7, 1866 Congress enacted legislation specifically stating "that no portrait or likeness of any living person hereafter engraved, shall be placed upon any of the bonds, securities, notes, fractional or postal currency of the United States
?
- Comment on More lawmakers say they're rejecting paychecks as government shutdown drags on 5 days ago:
How many bothered to negotiate anything at all before hand, knowing their attempts to steal Americans healthcare wouldn’t just be agreed to?
How many Republicans LEFT TOWN knowing there would not be a settled budget.
Kicking the can down the road so they can keep pushing their “every American gets punched in the face” budget bill without any compromise does fuck all but give them more time to try to shift blame as they do nothing to compromise on their “fuck Americans, the wealthy get all the money” bill. It’s straight extortion.
- Comment on What Do Democrats and Republicans Want in Government Shutdown Dispute? 6 days ago:
Republicans want to double the cost of your healthcare, while pretending they’re fixing a non-existent problem, so they can pocket that money themselves.
Democrats don’t want your healthcare to get EVEN MORE expensive than it already is.
- Comment on More lawmakers say they're rejecting paychecks as government shutdown drags on 6 days ago:
Oh look, a bunch of performative independently wealthy Republicans pretending to do a solidarity thing with the common people who aren’t being paid, while they… Shut down the government in order to take away the common people’s healthcare…
- Comment on I balance my checkbook every day. I manage my bank acount . Why does the goverment have so much problems with this? I get large payouts and such but it always seem they are in the neg?? 1 week ago:
Because if you can make the currency you pay back the loan with worth less than what you borrowed, you gain. That’s why they want some inflation.
Problems happen when you keep borrowing more and more each year, and also do stupid shit that shakes the faith of those lending you money in your ability to pay it back
- Comment on Democrats’ Unhinged Crusade Against ICE Fuels Bloodshed 1 week ago:
Ahhh yes, ICE, which has illegally publicly arrested natural born citizens for no reason, publicly beaten people who were not resisting while joking about how they’re going to be so injured as to now be disabled, just raided a building dragging naked screaming children into a van… And it’s the people who don’t this behavior abhorrent that are unhinged. Sure. Fucking fascists.

Do you think they don’t have video games over there? What a bizarre thing to say. They’re able to effectively censor all kinds of other media, why do you think RPGs are special?

Yeah, nothing like an ultra conservative theocratic dictatorship to really expand those creative freedoms…

Just blanket acceptance with zero condemnation of the practice. It even includes moral guidelines like how to beat your human property without going to hell…

Because Yahweh was originally a lesser Canaanite deity of war and destructive storms, while his counterpart, Baal, was all about gentle restorative rains. Part of that population moved around, and took him to be their primary deity when they broke off. He eventually merged with El.
Then that shit for further rehashed a few millennia later to soften his image.

It’s being bought by blood money (Kushner’s $2billion investment/bribe to hush up the US government about the brutal murder of a US resident journalist at the hands of the Saudis).

What people usually mean when they try to complain about realism in something that is based on fantasy is that it isn’t verisimilitudinous. Things should seem self consistent given the rules the fiction has established.
