      The problem is most Trumpists actually like the comparison to Nazis because it either makes them feel badass or just because it makes people they don’t like upset.

      I did like someone else’s idea of making a sticker of Musks Nazi salute to stick on Tesla’s and any MAGA signage to highlight exactly what they stand for

  I’m not American, so I’m just now catching up with what happened over there yesterday. The first time I saw this image (elsewhere), I was praying that this was AI-generated. And I hate seeing AI-generated stuff and I’m not religious either. I still wish it was AI but now I know it’s not and… jesus christ.

    I’m tempted to believe he did it with intent, it definitely looks like it.

    But the amount of information i’ve stumbled on about China that turned out to be wrong, it feels like modern media is 95% trying to screw the other party.

      I can see how it was mistaken as an accident. Americans often put hand on heart and snap it to 45 degrees angle as an expression of thank you. Very common gesture, very easy to do it accidentally at a political event. 3 times in a row. While someone in the crowd yells “sieg heil!”

    I think your math is a little bit off though.

    There were ~244 million eligible voters in 2024. 75,017,613 voted for Harris*, which gives us ~169 million that allowed this to happen.

    *The only other viable candidate, like it or not.

    I was thinking the same. There should be a rule at any posts about these cunts needs to include their names in the title or something.

    The constant feed of these cunts every action is not conducive to positive mental health. I get it. Shits fucked. I don’t need to read about it all day.

    Filtering by community is impractical in some cases.

    That said, using thunderbird on android I can filter by keyword… is there an alternative front end for the desk top that allows the same?

      Yes and no. 1.4k? Out of hundreds of millions of online users. Literal raindrop in an ocean.

      It means there’s still too many people supporting the same corporations willing to manipulate them through stealth advertising, data harvesting/selling, and misinformation.

      It means that there’s still not enough people who care about privacy.

      It means that there’s still a lot of educational work to do in society.
