No I was being a dick you dumb sealant.
You can’t really believe I’ll be posting a friend’s private bank statement online to prove some silly argument with a idiotic stranger online that’s actively trying to run away from the possibility of being proven wrong in an argument.
Go bother your family and stop replying to me.

My local supermarket has a lot of fresh cake in stock, usually half of the display is 40% off because of the expiration date is “today” or some goof held the box at a silly angle causing a visually ruined cake.
I’ll happily snack away on the poor whip cream squashed sugary treat. Especially when it’s super cheap.

I actually installed it this week to give it another go, this timing is golden haha

No they need a second wage to pay the bills.
As a result of that the need for daycare arises, then that daycare gobbled up that ENTIRE wage in my country.
It does not work. It costs too much. No matter how much you justify the cost from the business point of view.
- Comment on Doesn't add up 2 weeks ago:
I’ll explain it slowly, parents need a second wage to pay the bills as a result of this their kid gets put in daycare which they rather didn’t.
But then that daycare eats up that entire wage, leaving the parents in the same spot financially but now without time or energy.

This is a beautiful piece of art, I like how not having a truck didn’t make you useless.
I’m not American we’re not big on trucks here, unless you’re an independent contractor they do have trucks even though they don’t really fit our country haha.
But if someone needs help to move something and you can’t supply the car, you’re instantly considered useless and never involved in anything from that moment on. Doesn’t even matter if you can move the whole couch by yourself.
You’re excluded. It’s a peaceful life, but it gets lonely at times.

Kids are put there out of necessity for a second wage and then that entire second wage gets gobbled up, see the irony there. It’s not working.

A daycare around here is literally a full wage, you can’t tell me that’s not enough. Ever.

We used to grab a sandwich (fancy ones, mind you) and fresh made large smoothy for about 16€ for us 2. This was one of the most expensive places but I absolutely adored the view and it was a healthy treat.
Nowadays you pay €8 for a basic sandwich and if you want something fancy like a smoothie that’ll add another €7 a piece. Those fancy sandwiches we got now go for around €13 a piece.
We don’t go out to eat anymore obviously, groceries have also far surpassed those previous restaurant prices. I now pay more to eat at home compared to what we used to pay at the fanciest place near us.
- Comment on They eliminated cashiers and keep the profits. NY Democrats are fighting back. 2 weeks ago:
At first they promised us it would keep the prices down, I already knew that’s not how businesses operate but hey…I got no influence over this so let’s see how it works out.
A few years after grocery prices triple with all kinds of excuses, yes excuses…claims about how what when where and why it happened which all turned out to in reality be nothing more then a temporary nuisance, but prices never went down because duhh it’s a business.
So here we are, paying the wages for jobs we do ourselves and a 200% tip to boot.
I really think we should keep track of the amount of time spent at the self checkout and make a bill for the store manager under the title: “freelance register operator” at a polite $40 bucks an hour.

It depends per case, my friend kept studying while I dropped out (due to private circumstances).
My friend ended up at the same employer for the same pay only years later, he wasn’t a good fit for his field.
A few years later I jumped ship to try and develop myself into a better paid job, I am now an actual crane operator with a beefy wage. My friend is still there making the same low wage.
But he got lucky on a different matter, due to him living at home until 33 he did manage to buy a house with massive savings. I haven’t yet.
This is life, there aren’t any given certainties. Only people who claim their experience will be the same for you.
- Comment on What was the first game you ever bought ? 4 months ago:
Must have been Gran Turismo 3, during those days I was switching from pocket money to spending my own income so it’s not sure if GT3 was still a gift and GT4 was actually my first self bought game.
I do remember i owned the platinum edition of GT3 and GT4 was bought at release.
It was definitely worth it, Up until today I still dream about owning a race sim setup to do some serious racing and developing my skill. But I never got past a used Logitech G29 mounted to a desk and a chair that kept rolling away from the pedals type of setup.
I had a fairly long term of being unemployed during Covid which ended up in me buying that G29 as I spent a lot of time playing GT sport and finally for the first time ever got all gold on the licenses, so I knew I was making some good progress from all the time spent.
I even dared to try online racing and as I got better slowly managed to hold myself among others, which made me happy.

I miss those showers at home, where you didn’t need to care about bills as your parents protected you from those.
My showers easily ended up being 30min long, looking back I wish those bills still took a similar % of your income. I’d happily sink away into my empty brain under a steaming hot shower.

If they don’t stop digging this slop hole any deeper, I won’t be coming back.
Heck my 7900xtx is serving me plenty well and my Ryzen processor is doing more than enough.
Seeing how my old lower specced pc lasted me 11 years I figure this one might be able to chug along for a few more at this point.

If these trends keep going the way they are then idiocracy becomes reality.
