Didn’t stream live but watch some run on their yt, so far watched Castlevania SOTN and DS1. I have no idea what the speedrunner is doing in DS1 but i’m amazed by it every second. By the time he finished the game i would’ve only arrived in Undead Burg. SOTN is also amazing.

It’s all depend on the publisher and also the country. The game you mentioned probably due to it being developed for asian market(with the lack of english translation), they probably don’t even planed to release outside of japan at first.
Some other cases can be due to the law of that country, some game can be banned by the government so the publisher will have to restrict their sales.
