I was sitting next to my wife for a few hours talking to her (we brought food and so on, so no need for me to go anywhere).
I mean, I would have had time to play games, but I doubt I’d still be married.

Would be more efficient if she’d also smoke 30 cigarettes a day.

Confused me as I started to understand Luigi exclusively equals “fighting against the corporations”.

And I cannot be in a house where it is cooked. It smells so terrible.

Yeah, I häve this as well and I didn’t think I have ADHD.

Yes, lemmy is not mainstream. But man, you are complaining about 1.4k upvotes on non-corporate media. This is extraordinary.

Slowing down the metabolism seems the mistake realistic thing we might be able to do to something like time traveling.

Rice starts popping after 5 seconds on 850W in my microwave.
- Comment on Which one are you? 1 month ago:
That is why I do most reheating on the stove, in the oven or on the contact grill (depends on what it is).
- Comment on Which one are you? 1 month ago:
I don’t use the microwave that often, but doesn’t that result in explosion all the time?

Anyone from HR will probably be on the phone a lot.

I’ve been sharing an office with a Wallace. It can be tiresome. But one can occasionally learn things and ignoring the annoying parts can be part of what you can learn.
- Comment on What games have you sunk the most time into? 2 months ago:
Yeah, I played a lit of 1.6 and source. Then my family and job life had me quit playing for a few years. When I came back it said 1.6 hours for both. Cannot say when it happened though.

I always assumed this is also why adults love disgusting cheese (I do to a degree as well nowadays). We just our sense of taste and call it refined taste.

- Comment on Seriously, what the f*** is keeping Donald Trump in this presidential race? 5 months ago:
I’d say here in Germany it is mostly a unpopularity contest.
- Comment on Meatspin 5 months ago:
Here in Germany we optimized the process and just use these nowadays: stilum.com/…/flecto-Karussell-auf-einem-Spielplat…

You send me kooking and at least the JV believe in climate change and argue that it was foretold in the Bible.
- Comment on Words truly matter 6 months ago:
It is probably true though. Speaking to them every day, means looking at them every day and thus seeing problems immediately okay, so bot true, but still effective.

- Comment on I've heard it clears up again after the first wave of divorces 6 months ago:
Seems plausible. Mist of my friends got married between arround 28 and 32, then the divorces happened between arround 35 and 38. Those who survived that wave are still married.

- Comment on Dutch toilets 6 months ago:
No, I meant that I literally could see people taking a shit when walking in the restrooms at several places, because the walls were just ~180cm high.
- Comment on Dutch toilets 6 months ago:
I hated them, they made anxious. But much worse were the stalls into could look into. Why america, why? When I take a shit I want a wall that actually serves the purpose of not having people seeing me taking a shit.
On another note, the Dutch style toilets were very common in Germany up until.the 90s. Rare nowadays.
- Comment on Why do we put up with this crap? 6 months ago:
