Whatever bullshit tasks you’re dreading, see if it’s possible to do them before work, or on your lunch break, or on the weekend, or on your scheduled vacation days

It’s totally a thing, at least in public perception. For example, in Fortnite, there’s an emote called “Have a seat.” Here’s two of my skins doing it: Have a seat.
Notice anything? Spike and Chun-Li do totally different animations because they have different gender presentations.

There are different styles of crossing your legs. If you put one knee over the other, that style is often seen as feminine. Compare this with putting one ankle over the other knee (so the top leg is roughly flat) and that is seen as the masculine way.
I do both. Which one depends on the situation.

Many people would use such a method to troll and be disruptive, possibly causing collisions

If a bee sees a color we cannot, it would be pretty silly to insist it’s not a color on the basis of us being unable to see it, wouldn’t it?

I wonder if there are some metals that appear grey to us but actually have a color, we just don’t see it because it’s outside our visible spectrum
- Comment on Are there good Movies, TV Shows, Anime, with wholesome family (particularly parent-child) relations? 3 weeks ago:
Future is a separate show, set after the movie, not another season of the first show. It’s tonally very different.

- Comment on Not to get all religiony but why in the old testament God was all fire and brimstone and fatal consequences? But the new testament God is all about forgiveness and such?? 1 month ago:
Because the people who wrote the old testament wanted to scare people into subservience
And those who wrote the new testament thought positive reinforcement was better

I don’t avoid guns due to a fear of crime. I avoid guns due to a fear of negligence.
Every single day, someone in my family does something negligent, but ultimately harmless. Oops. Now there’s an extra dirty dish. Oops. Broke a coaster. Oops. Dirty towel. Oops. Got sprayed with water.
Putting a gun in that situation would be pretty dangerous.
I suppose some households could keep guns responsibly. Mine could not, despite my personal practices.

Copy Epic’s model of selling “Sbucks” or similar, which you then spend on those games. Problem solved.

You learn behaviors from your parents. Whatever you see them do more often, you’re more likely to repeat.
If you saw them be angry and indifferent all the time, that’s what will come naturally to you.

Reminds me how Hank’s dad in King of the Hill remarried one of Hank’s kindergarten classmates.
Also why Roger Moore quit being Bond. “They kept hiring women to play opposite me young enough to be my granddaughter. Frankly, it was disgusting.”
That said, you’re both adults. As long as it doesn’t feel awkward or controlly to either of you, give it a shot.
- Comment on WTF is a rural town in the USA? 5 months ago:
I think of a rural town to be an area big enough to have a name but too small to have its own police department (so all law enforcement is done by a sheriff’s office and/or state police).
