Fixing computers during the day + being on my own at home (games, making art, listening to music, etc.) = very happy.

No. Ever since my work injury, looking at a screen or playing games causes me to be incredibly sick.
I played 20 minutes of Skyrim yesterday, and I was so sick midday I had such a bad migraine I took a nap and had hot flashes where I sweat through my shirt. Last night barely slept due to nightmares.

Needed to use my work computer for 5mins, fired it up the workplace software crashed (50/50 chance these days) only solution is a reboot. Start the reboot process “Your computer is updating, please do not power off” type message (Not word for word) I haven’t got time for this. Pull the plug before it starts doing anything serious, power on. Your computer needs to update before starting. 20mins before I can start a 5min task.

It made me happy until I read the article about a truckload of vintage Japanese porn crashing into a grain silo in rural Manitoba and being completely destroyed. Apparently that truck had the only remaining copy of the 1972 magazine featuring “the girl with the tempura asshole”.
