- Comment on What is it like being drunk? How much control do you have? 2 days ago:
First it makes me happy, then tired, then sick. Movements get a little slower. It depends on the person I guess but I always felt doing things you otherwise wouldn’t seems more like an act or an excuse.
- Comment on Valid point 2 days ago:
We had a blackout last year. Most stores were still operating. Apparently enough people still carried cash.
- Comment on Valid point 2 days ago:
Us millennials must age gracefully if youth can’t recognize our age until they ask for our wallet
- Comment on well? did it? 3 days ago:
2 questions but only 1 way to answer. So the implication is you can only be happy when using a computer? This dev needs QA
- Comment on Why it is that in the USA for most people the default color for a casual sock is white but in most other places the default is black? 1 week ago:
Maybe it’s just what Americans wear on holiday?
White pulled up socks and shorts that are too long and too wide -> typical American tourist
- Comment on What can be done to prevent more dangerous heatwaves in Europe? 1 week ago:
More green wouldn’t hurt. The city I live in invested heavily in removing green space. Shrubs and plants are nearly all removed and the remaining empty grass fields are continuously cut. Having green space cools the city down, gives shade and helps animals, so how about we plant things and stop cutting everything?
- Comment on Is IPV6 better for youtube adblockers? 1 week ago:
Often there’s an option in the modem for ipv6 and it’s usually already activated anyway. Shouldn’t matter for adblocking though. But what’s YouTube doing? I didn’t notice any anti-adblocking stuff going on recently
- Comment on How come there is so many commercials to make a guy hard but not something for women that will enjoy sex more? No pun intended in this but why are women getting royally fucked? 2 weeks ago:
There’s shops advertising women’s toys but I’ve never seen anything for men… Not sure where you hang out that you get to see those kinds of ads

He would never fully write out his middle name
- Comment on 4 weeks ago:
By some miracle, more than zero.
- Comment on Do young people still say words like "taped"? 1 month ago:
There’s a breathing hole in my door that wasps keep crawling into so I taped it shut. But I guess I’m old too
- Comment on 4 rules of firearm safety 1 month ago:
US police training?
- Comment on What would the next pres of USA have to do to gain back trust for America? Hold a televised event saying the last person was just a fuck up? 2 months ago:
US has always acted like a villain. CIA overthrowing governments, NSA spying on EU companies/politicians with US admitting they did for “US interests” (maximizing US companies’ profits by cheating the rest of us); arming terrorist groups and just causing chaos around the world or if self-interest while we have to pretend we’re OK with it or they will cut of trade. They are the only western country that uses torture as official policy, doesn’t think food and shelter are you human rights etc etc.
And people mostly don’t care or forget very quickly. Next time elect someone who can speak full sentences and is not so blatantly corrupt, show some goodwill, and people will forget within months.
- Comment on How do I drink more water? 2 months ago:
I also grew up barely drinking anything, definitely never any water. Now I buy carbonated (mineral) water. It tastes better and is refreshing. It helps to buy a few and put them within reach so you’re reminded. Keep one next to your bed. After a while you’ll notice dehydration when you forget to drink. Probably you never noticed before if you were always used to it.
- Comment on Miss me 2 months ago:
I tried the online poker thing a little bit. With friends IRL it’s fun but online it’s boring. People work it like it’s their job.
I tried a casino once, won a bunch of money on the first machine and I was thinking I’m done, but had to wait for my friends so I kept doubling a small bet on black on roulette. It landed on red 9 times in a row. It’s all a scam
- Comment on Why do some people with college degrees and an education, still act so fucking stupid? 2 months ago:
Staring at teacher’s boring Powerpoint presentations and reading through a chapter an hour before a test only to forget it after doesn’t magically make you a smart person. In fact, I felt more like it numbs the brain.
- Comment on Does anyone else feel like websites nowadays feels very broken compared to apps? Like you try to do transactions on the mobile site (eg: ordering food), and payments mysteriously declines... 3 months ago:
The amount of sites claiming there’s suspicious traffic coming from my IP is getting ridiculous
- Comment on Always there, just waiting. 4 months ago:
Am I the only one who thinks they’re too expensive? Even my favorite pear juice went up 105% in price in a short time
- Comment on If God (or any creator of the universe) exists would he be made out of atoms? 6 months ago:
The Bible also says God walked the earth like a regular man
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
I believe you don’t easily see messages from people who are not in your friend list. Also many people still have an account but don’t use it at all anymore. Maybe getting a notification from FB reminded him to finally delete the account.
- Comment on What is with these videos where it's just someone reaction to shit someone else is doing? 6 months ago:
I’m not into sports neither and when my father explained why he watches sports, I suggested you might just as well watch people playing video games.
I thought that was ridiculous at the time but it actually became a thing
- Comment on How does internet advertising work? Where is all the money coming from? More... 6 months ago:
Assuming price is the same, would you pick a brand known for using child labor, or a company you know nothing about? I’d avoid the Nikes unless they’re the cheapest option.
