- Comment on Do Americans expect the NK protest to achieve anything? 1 week ago:
Movements take time to build momentum. The first protest isn’t going to immediately solve everything. But this is how change starts to happen. People start getting more comfortable going to protests, maybe they bring a friend next time. People make connections to other organizations and activists at protests that can help them do more after the protest is over.
And it’s a sign that, despite the amount of power as he’s already seized, and as much as he might not like it, he can’t stop millions of people peacefully protesting against him.
And Trump makes fun of a lot of things. I don’t give his word any credit on any other topic, why would this be any different?
- Comment on What are some good uses the new ballroom can have after the Trump regime is over? 1 week ago:
I agree he has no intentions of leaving office, but neither of his sons have the charisma to carry on the cult of personality. Whenever and however he dies, there is going to be a massive power struggle that ensures, and I don’t know if there’s anyone that can pull off being the sole inheritor of the MAGA movement

The lines between reality and satire get blurrier by the day

Raw milk should be treated like ice cream - never let it get too warm, unless you’re pasteurizing or boiling it. Jesus Christ, these people.

I have multiple friends with dairy goats, and I end up with milk a lot of the time. They’ve always told me it was raw, and I never was too worried about it, because they’re small operations and I trust their hygiene practices. Hell, I’ve milked the goats myself! And I went on for a few years happily drinking raw milk and making raw goat cheese. And if I ever shared it, I would tell people it was raw, but I never thought much about it.
Somewhere along the way, over the past few years, I noticed that the conservatives were getting more and more into raw milk. And you know what I did? I read more about the risks, learned how easy home pasteurization is, and started fucking pasteurizing my milk. It’s not hard, and it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Plus, I want to be the cool friend who knows how to make their own cheese, not the weird conspiracy theorist talking about how they’re oppressed by the FDA.
