Yeah 2,5 litres of water should be bare minimum. Start easy, and know that the frequent trips to the loo will slow down once your body has adjusted
exu@feditown.com 10 months ago
It depends a lot on how physically active you are, but you don’t need 2.5l in many cases like office jobs.
ApathyTree@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 months ago
My chipmunk bladder would like to have a word with your claim that the trips slow down over time…
CoolMatt@lemmy.ca 10 months ago
I skip skip skip to my loo every time I have to pee
peaceful_world_view@lemmy.world 10 months ago
I’m way ahead of you…and behind you at the same time.

I see you too are a master of quantum super-positioning.
Scott_of_the_Arctic@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Sleep apnea makes you feel hungover. Get checked.
ickplant@lemmy.world 10 months ago
For me, it’s perimenopause, but good to know.
Scott_of_the_Arctic@lemmy.world 10 months ago
No reason you can’t have both, you lucky girl 😉

I’m 44 and am really quite sick of having to be aware of drinking enough water.
Until just a few short years ago I could just crack on and not think about it. If my mouth was dry as Gandhi’s flip flops, I’d have a drink, otherwise I wouldn’t think about it.
Now I start to feel like shit, and can’t figure out why, until I remember that i’ve only had a point of water today and could probably stand to drink some more.
It’s bullshit.
flambonkscious@sh.itjust.works 10 months ago
Gandhi’s flip-flops? Fuck that’s dry…
Amazing verbiage, fanks!
atomicbocks@sh.itjust.works 10 months ago
If this is you, try drinking more water.
sin_free_for_00_days@sopuli.xyz 10 months ago
But then I’m up 3-4 times during the night peeing.
tamal3@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Drink it earlier in the day, not all after dinner. I drink a full glass of water when my alarm goes off in the morning, and keep a bottle with me almost always. Add some sliced cucumber or other flavor to convince yourself to take sips throughout the day.
DarkCloud@lemmy.world 10 months ago
I’m getting dumber.
lime@feddit.nu 10 months ago
god i feel this so much. like trying to push through mud to get thoughts to complete sometimes.
Empricorn@feddit.nl 10 months ago
Yeah, I know. Thanks, me. I’m so dumb I don’t even remember creating that account or typing that!
chunes@lemmy.world 10 months ago
millions of people are walking around with chronic viral and bacterial infections and don’t know it. Feeling like that isn’t just normal aging.
dingus@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Huh? Chronic infections? Do you have a source on this? Sounds like things I’ve heard to get you to buy whatever flavor of snake oil treatment of the week there is.
Most people probably just need to be more active and eat healthier.
Pacattack57@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Coffee clears that up for me pretty quickly. Like immediately after the first sip. Some say I’m addicted. I say I’m self medicated.
Dorkyd68@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Turning 40 be like that yo. Honestly can’t be anywhere near alcohol as ill feel like crap for 2 days straight after
Bosht@lemmy.world 10 months ago
So not just me then. Had 3 beers the other night, not sure I even caught a buzz. Felt shitty and off for 2 days after. Fucking blows.
tempest@lemmy.ca 10 months ago
You just need to hydrate a bunch. I drink Gatorade or a ton of water after any alcohol. Obviously if you go out and drink a 12 pack that won’t help you but 3 beers in a night should definitely not leave you feeling like crap the next morning.
Actually even if you don’t drink you should stay hydrated.
phdepressed@sh.itjust.works 10 months ago
Drink water, eat healthy, and exercise this will likely go away in a few days to weeks of good habits.
ickplant@lemmy.world 10 months ago
While I agree that doing all of the above is good for you, it will not take away perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
phdepressed@sh.itjust.works 10 months ago
That is true, but a lot of people on this thread talking about their 30s being like this.
HenriVolney@sh.itjust.works 10 months ago
Might as well going back/starting drinking at your age!
ickplant@lemmy.world 10 months ago
I did the opposite and stopped drinking a year ago because it was only hurting my health. But I see your logic.
dbtng@eviltoast.org 10 months ago
Fuk me. You people are hillarious.
A huge chunk of my focus is on holding back the years. Exercise, diet, restraint. It aint easy, and I fail a lot. The humor here hits home.
