I was perma banned by admins for hurting a mods feelings. Reddit is so scared of having to pay mods they let them do whatever they want. There is no point in trying to rationalize it. As long as mods go unpaid, they will be allowed to have absolute power in the communities they control.

1: men do have birth control. 2: this is so Ironic because women hold the majority of if not ALL the control in terms of who they have sex with. Let alone who they allow to climax inside of them without a condom. In other words they chose the outcome. They allowed it. Not including rape and other SA scenarios.

If beans get you bloated your fiber and vegetable intake gotta be ABYSMAL. And I’m not talking about Taco Bell beans. Just regular beans you cook at home either canned or boiled.

This picture HAS to be AI. The cheese weeks are getting progressively smaller. 2 cups of wine. The sauce bowl is barely bigger than a grape ñ. That purple sausage? in the middle looks like a turd. The pickles in the edge are even smaller than the grapes. Sausage baked into pound cake for breakfast seems odd.

I am cheap. I only buy games on sale or f2p. Wouldn’t be fair comparison. Probably less than $500 in 15 years.

That is an incredible price in 2020. The graphics cards alone were going for that much.

I over the last 15 years I’ve bought a total of 4 consoles. Ranging from $300 and below, and only 1 of those was an upgrade. The other 3 were different consoles to play different exclusives. We’ll just call it $1200 plus $150 for extra controllers and headsets. How much have you spent on your PC since you bought it?

Mexican pizza , Pepsi, bean and cheese burrito.

That’s fair. Same for salad tossing but that’s a lot harder to maintain.

WRONG. Something cooked in liquid is the definition of soup. I’ll give you a controversial example. Meat cooked in a liquid is a stew. Stews are soups. Chili is just ground beefed cooked in liquid. Therefore chili is a stew ergo a soup. Cereal on the other hand is not a soup. It is not cooked at any stage of its making. Therefore it can not be classified as soup. That you would suggest such a thing is blasphemy.

Just google Mesopotamian floods. That region flooded quite a bit in ancient times. It’s not far fetched to believe one of those was pretty bad and it inspired a lot of legends and stories.

Ya you nailed it. Good people are punished and bad people rewarded.

It’s a fictional story so the only source is the Bible.

That would be true if by utilizing the staffing cuts, they increased wages or lowered costs but instead they just pocket the profits.

There is textual and historical evidence that Noah’s ark was adapted from the epic of Gilgamesh, which predates Noah’s ark by about 1000 years. So it doesn’t make sense because it’s plagiarized from a story that was never meant to be taken seriously.

Not far off from the truth. It was about preserving the royal bloodline from Abraham, to David, to Jesus Christ. Also based on archeological data, the flood was a more localized disaster than we realize.

I will admit that the one on the left looks significantly better than the right but in all honesty they are both GROSS 🤢. Nothing wrong with short, clean nails.

- Comment on what's a good answer to placate the c-suite if you're accused of lacking motivation and being unfriendly? 4 weeks ago:
Committing to do your best isn’t a commitment. When you get questioned about it you just say you’re doing your best.

There is a fine line between not following instructions and being combative. The reason yours doesn’t work is because it opens the conversation up more for the employer to ask questions. It tows the line of being combative and telling the employer to pound sand.
There is no harm in telling the employer you’ll try to fix something. You just can’t commit because they’ll hold you to the standard you set. Committing to “do your best” can’t be challenged and most middle managers will think they won the conversation.

Since you’re union the only correct response is: “I’m sorry you feel that way, I’ll do my best to work on that”. That needs to be your response for literally any type of criticism. It’s not an admission of guilt, it cuts the conversation short, and it’s not a direct commitment to fix it. If they follow up with more crap about why you need to fix it just repeat the line.

For me experiences from real people are worlds better than googling. “Go from A to B” might seem straightforward but a human could tell you be carefull in the middle because there’s a pothole. Information from people is more helpful.

It’s literally just reality TV. Nothing strange about it. It’s nice to watch someone play a game I like while I’m eating or something.
I will say I don’t like watching female streamers because through no fault of their own (sometimes it is their fault) they are non stop sexualized and either make it their personality to be toxic towards men or don’t get into the content because men are constantly bothering them. Also thirst trap streamers are the worst.

A better question is which one of these is the worst. If I had to pick, B and C are not the best but even those aren’t too bad. A looks like it isn’t much but it is arguably the best. French and UK cuisine.
