  I am sometimes amazed at the lengths I will go to make sure I have coffee in the morning. Like to the point I act like a responsible adult. Last week I actually bought groceries BEFORE I ran out cuz I was running low on coffee.

  Don’t give 2 week notices. The only incentive you have is if you are leaving on good terms you can use them as a reference or maybe come back if the circumstances work.

  The downsides far outweigh the benefits. They could terminate you, cut your hours, get mad that you’re quitting and give you bad references.

  When the left lane does not adjust their speed for the incoming driver, the right lane is forced to slow down and sometimes stop completely if traffic is bad enough. This further increases traffic because now the left lane has to stop as well to allow the right lane to merge.

  I think this is just a saying that lost its meaning. Youth is the time you don’t have to worry about much and you can live without regrets because most of your decisions don’t have real consequences (aside from the obvious ones).

  Obviously to young people they don’t see it that way. In hindsight I could have done a lot more as a kid but I didn’t for fear of whatever the hell I was afraid of. Definitely not the best years though.

  You don’t have to explain if you’re attracted to your partner or not. Some people are assholes who can’t be happy unless others are unhappy. Personally I would tell them to fuck off and just not talk to them anymore.

  Proton is not that good bro. At least not the free version. I kind of hate when people suggest it because just like other free vpns, the free version is designed to not work well. It does basic browsing very well but you are not gonna torrent with it.

  People have been trying to gaslight me that base game oblivion looks fantastic and with mods it can look amazing. I’ve modded the fuck out of it and it still looks like shit. The remaster looks decent though.

  This isnt really related but once my sister and I were walking in a strip mall and saw a store that we’ve never been in but had seen a lot of ads for so we popped in to see what was in there and we’re were stopped by a man easily wearing an 8x shirt and probably 50x32 pants. He didn’t really let us a few feet past the door and asked if we needed something. Our response was “we’re just browsing” and he answered, “we probably don’t have anything for you”. We could tell we were wanted so we just left.

  The ginormous pants in this picture reminded me of that story.

  This summer I’m going to try to take my kids to the library at least 3 times a week. It’s free and they could use some practice reading. Not to mention like you said the computers are free to use. Should be a fun time.
