There is textual and historical evidence that Noah’s ark was adapted from the epic of Gilgamesh, which predates Noah’s ark by about 1000 years. So it doesn’t make sense because it’s plagiarized from a story that was never meant to be taken seriously.

Not far off from the truth. It was about preserving the royal bloodline from Abraham, to David, to Jesus Christ. Also based on archeological data, the flood was a more localized disaster than we realize.

I will admit that the one on the left looks significantly better than the right but in all honesty they are both GROSS 🤢. Nothing wrong with short, clean nails.

Committing to do your best isn’t a commitment. When you get questioned about it you just say you’re doing your best.

There is a fine line between not following instructions and being combative. The reason yours doesn’t work is because it opens the conversation up more for the employer to ask questions. It tows the line of being combative and telling the employer to pound sand.
There is no harm in telling the employer you’ll try to fix something. You just can’t commit because they’ll hold you to the standard you set. Committing to “do your best” can’t be challenged and most middle managers will think they won the conversation.

Since you’re union the only correct response is: “I’m sorry you feel that way, I’ll do my best to work on that”. That needs to be your response for literally any type of criticism. It’s not an admission of guilt, it cuts the conversation short, and it’s not a direct commitment to fix it. If they follow up with more crap about why you need to fix it just repeat the line.

For me experiences from real people are worlds better than googling. “Go from A to B” might seem straightforward but a human could tell you be carefull in the middle because there’s a pothole. Information from people is more helpful.

It’s literally just reality TV. Nothing strange about it. It’s nice to watch someone play a game I like while I’m eating or something.
I will say I don’t like watching female streamers because through no fault of their own (sometimes it is their fault) they are non stop sexualized and either make it their personality to be toxic towards men or don’t get into the content because men are constantly bothering them. Also thirst trap streamers are the worst.

A better question is which one of these is the worst. If I had to pick, B and C are not the best but even those aren’t too bad. A looks like it isn’t much but it is arguably the best. French and UK cuisine.

Im grateful that Tool finally gave in to public pressure and allowed their music to be streamed. When ITunes first came out and other streaming platforms became a thing. Tool refused to let their music be streamed because they wanted to “preserve the album experience”. It wasn’t until 2019 that you could find Tool on Spotify.

Low both rates deplete the workforce in the long term. Creates issues where tax revenue is low and cost of social programs and healthcare are extremely high because there are so many people at retirement age and beyond. Birth rates at a minimum should be stagnant.
- Comment on Not stealing 1 month ago:
There are people giving 100% of their paychecks for childcare and the spouse pays for everything else.
That is a failure of the US and birth rates won’t improve until that changes.
- Comment on Do you read analog clocks to the exact minute? How do you do this quickly? 1 month ago:
I guess I’m at that age where stuff like this means I’m old 😂
I’ll answer your question though: just buy a watch that the minutes are clearly marked with ticks and the minute hand moves by the minute and isn’t in constant motion.
Here’s some friendly advice though. Before digital, there really wasn’t a way to be so accurate down to the minute. Remember there wasn’t even really a way to get the right time. You just got it from somewhere else and hoped that time was accurate.
With that said, anyone that needed pinpoint accuracy had other means of getting the time or they used very expensive chronometers that kept time extremely well. In other words normal people just did stuff a couple minutes early in case their watches were slow.
ALL OF THAT to say if you want accuracy down to the minute, just use digital.

The real question is why the hell would you place the hot dog in this direction. Being vertical means the bread will not fully wrap around the dog and therefore not hold any condiments. Horizontally will allow for adequate condiments. The only downside being the ends of the bread will have hotdog sticking out.
