There’s a bunch of frontends out there you can play with, too
Have a read of this for an idea (it covers more than just SearXNG / search, however)

Appreciate the link OP. That’s a good one. Igor got about oglaf, it’s good stuff

I don’t disagree, but it’s a shame the drudgery of winter and the implications of remaining in either time frame (seasonal affective disorder, etc) are much harder to measure.
Its hard to have a rational debate about when it’s such an emotive thing.

Great communication but I’d be curious to hear about the times it didn’t work or even backfired.
I think therapists would have some great standup material. Their drinking sessions would be fantastic

If it wasn’t for the hand holding the book I’d think this was slop going by the ammmo belts…
Its fantastic either way, though

Well… Technically it just ‘outsources the problems’ to those around you, so maybe something to consider.

You may be aging?
There’s an incredible workaround for it, I hear. Cures all ailments, apparently…
- Comment on Why is Windows still bloated 1 week ago:
The compatibility is at the software layer, not so much hardware (but really all they’re doing is adding more new stuff, not dropping old).
Yes, your shitty access database that calls a Borland back-end still works, etc…
Provided the device drivers aren’t using direct memory access, they’ll typically work, too

That’s nothing to android being over 3 times larger in install base (hard to get total #s however).
Sure windows rules PCs but the technology isn’t that prevalent, and there are far more all encompassing technologies out there - these guys just like the sound of their own voice
- Comment on Our Commitment to Windows Quality 1 week ago:
Yep, I mean, we should have seen it coming in a way…
Its laughable howuch they’re huffing their own supply, however - thinking windows is one of the most used technologies (what, after radio, eftpos and whatnot! Theyre so fucking proud its revolting…)
As to whether the shareholders will allow them to claw back these AI hooks, who knows? I for one, doubt it. Hard…
- Comment on Our Commitment to Windows Quality 1 week ago:
Bingo!
As someone basically stuck using this shit (well, it’s healthcare so we’re still half stuck on 10 LTSC to be fair), I’m glad to see them talking about less obnoxious defaults!
I used to do a lot of default config and was pissed that defender blocked the user -based regkeys for disabling their shitty stock ticker widget, for example. Touching notepad was also a travesty.

Eidola’s exceptional album degeneterra comes to mind. From memory they claimed the albums concept was like a tesseract that can be viewed from multiple angles through each song.

There’s probably room for some bad religion in there, too?

Katatonia probably deserves a mention as well, but it’s all so vague and personal it’s hard to really tie down.
I haven’t studied any of them, however…
