Over the course of the last several days, have receiveda constant stream of harassing messages, death threats, and threats of doxxing over DM, Matrix, Github, and Codeberg. All of it instigated and eggged on by another instance’s top admin. This is unacceptable for all of the reasons in the world,
I mean, Jesus Christ. I have no choice but to agree with this first part of the manifesto. The people who did those things should be ashamed of themselves.

I’ve heard the reason for that is archive.today uses accounts to get around paywalls and the usernames for those accounts which appear on the page are hidden in order to not reveal to the scraped service which accounts are being used.

The Fediverse is pretty shit a lot of the time because it does attract a lot of life’s leftovers, but we have our own block methods. It’s unlikely to grow because of all the egoism and extremism of these losers, but that’s for its natural path and it’s a fun experiment in the meantime.

He used that argument a lot. I just feel like if there were legit death threats, he could have told us names, shared screen shots, even just with admins or something. Instead he’s forcing ddos attacks on his enemies and lying out his ass. He has no credibility and I just don’t believe him.
