- Comment on A Steam dev is deleting his own game after girlfriend made him realize AI is bad 2 weeks ago:
first time seeing a indie dev go ahead and Remove the whole game because the whole game uses AI.
Until now i only have seen indie devs just use AI to show that its just a tool rather then replacing artists/people, to fit the narrative(the narrative itself is not AI generated) and keep it on the game’s backgrounds(and the devs opted to use adobe firefly cause it claims to be “ethical”).
i also seen people also use AI to help with the Animation process or smth. - Comment on As Fortnite Enables Third-Party Microtransactions, Steal the Brainrot's Developer is Slammed By Fans For Immediately Adding $45 Premium Bundles and Gambling-Style Mechanics 2 weeks ago:

you also have UZDOOM(for the engine, works for GZDOOM mods) and project brutality(fork of brutal doom, adds improvements and such, currently in alpha) as alternatives
while the zombies will be from Doom instead of FreeDOOM on both mods, its alr and minor issue. - Comment on Doom 2016 forces you to accept 4 agreements before playing. 3 weeks ago:
Sorry for necroposting but:
Thank God we have FreeDoom, but that’s only a WAD replacement for ultimate DOOM and DOOM II.
Especially after it was bought by Bethesda and then later Microsoft. - Comment on PS5 ROM Keys Leaked: Sony’s Unpatchable Security Nightmare (2026) | The CyberSec Guru 3 weeks ago:

- Comment on Why do you hate AI? 1 month ago:
my take on the problems of AI from what i can remember:
- Destroying the environment/Draining water(is that only chatgpt?) faster
- Increasing ram prices
- taking Jobs
- Training On everything without respecting the original license/creators
- does not respect robots.txt
- sometimes not reliable source of information
- destroying creativity/oversaturating the market
- its not that reliable to replace as your assistant due to hallucination so its better to research the answers the AI gives you.(i hate how sometimes i feel like its easier, safer, less ethical and faster to ask AI then to look up the answer or maybe thats just me)
- Censoring Topics (is that only palestine genocide topics and is that also only chatgpt?)
ofc am not stopping anyone from using AI,but the ethics is the elephant in the room with AI as listed.

That’s why even I was on Windows, I would avoid Kernel level anticheat.
I know anticheat is important but I wish there was ways to prevent cheaters without running stuff in lower rings. - Comment on Want to play the latest multiplayer games? Just go into your bios settings or upgrade your PC if it doesn't have TPM chip. 2 months ago:

me since dec 2024, i usually use Linux for gaming(thank you Valve for Proton) but i may still spin up a Windows VM to flash roms to my Samsung Phone(grimlers fork sucks).
apps are also pretty alright on Linux but would love this area see some improvement. - Comment on Nearly 90% of Windows Games now run on Linux, latest data shows — as Windows 10 dies, gaming on Linux is more viable than ever 2 months ago:
its fine, cause no user program should run in the kernel. unless its a driver.
