Epoxy resin. Which is basically plastic. Arguably worse because of BPA

The map resemblance is very clearly intentional

I was just considering living things here, but fair point

Understandable, they’re neither animals nor plants, and at least to me, that’s really weird. Pretty much everything large enough to see fits into those categories, and it just feels like fungi should be plants as well.
I just googled a bit about this topic and learned algae is also not a plant. But it’s green! thurston

It looks like they’re missing their arm because the T-shirt sleeve folded in a kinda weird way

I second comaps. Sucks for public transport tbh but works great for walking/cycling/cars. For public transport I use Offi Directions, but it mostly just supports the APIs of German and Austrian public transport companies

Life isn’t fair. Get used to it.
Instead of making everyone equally miserable, here’s another suggestion: he can now use his increased capacity to take away as much of the mother’s stress as he can. Seems like a much more reasonable solution to me than unnecessarily increasing stress levels of the man.

When she suffers, so should he? What?
I’m sure having a newborn is plenty stressful as it is, no need to take away another way of him to be able to relieve stress. Sure, she might not have that luxury, but having two stressed parents is worse than one.

True but at least it just sounds sarcastic rather than astonished that this obvious fact is actually true.

This isn’t just particle board, look on the right side. This is that cardboard wafer stuff IKEA uses, and probably others, too.

It would be kinda stupid to rent it to do that. I think most people who do that just pick it up when its standing around somewhere

That doesn’t make a lot of sense. The T could only be there when the S is also there. I think what you’re going for would look more like

I just looked it up, it seems I’m pretty average with my energy usage compared to others here in germany, considering the electric flow heater I have. I wonder why energy usage seems so much higher elsewhere

yearly, and I use LED light bulbs in the whole flat
I do haven an electric stove/oven, kettle, dishwasher and washing machine. Oh, and my warm tap water is also heated by electricity. Haven’t really considered those, but that’s definitely a good point, water takes tons of energy to heat after all
- Comment on Servers go Brrrrrr 2 months ago:
No HVAC here, I have gas heating and the only thing resembling AC in my flat is a fridge lol
- Comment on Servers go Brrrrrr 2 months ago:
This thread makes me question my 2,000kWh power bill, I don’t have any servers and always shut down my main PC. I do use a laptop as a media center that I don’t shut down, but I figured it can’t be using that much power.
Maybe the main factor is me being in home office and using my PC about 12-14h a day? 😅

As far as I understand it, you need less brightness for the same result thanks to modern anti-glare coatings. Or use the same brightness for a better result.
