but you’d have to actually… look it up and leave your house to do any of this.
That’s the problem. The sort of person we’re talking about isn’t going to do this. What’s needed is an army of people incessantly knocking on doors offering to help.

There should be a government program to handle situations like this if there aren’t. Take an assessment of their current skills and interests and get them into employment and/or training for something that fits. You basically need to intervene when the parents won’t and do it in a way that’s as least stressful for the person as possible. It would pay off in the end because this person may end up on government assistance later when they most need it. Politicians who can pull this off may get to claim to have reduced unemployment in their reelection campaign. And it’s just a good thing to do. Some people won’t take the initiative. You have to do it for them and hold their hand.

It’s been a blast to see the death of the internet as fraudsters pollute the world with books they hope to make a quick buck on and which they did not write themselves. Real fun. /s

I’ve heard the reason for that is archive.today uses accounts to get around paywalls and the usernames for those accounts which appear on the page are hidden in order to not reveal to the scraped service which accounts are being used.

The correct answer is C: the cube plops out and the object to which the blue portal is affixed flies off in the southwest direction.

That’s not his site. This is his official campaign site.. He’s a republican running in New York’s district 21.^[en.wikipedia.org/…/2026_United_States_House_of_Re…] The flyer pictured in the post and the website on the flyer are a parody by someone else.

It’s a challenge to find a case where it really is a Hollywood thing.
Do Americans really eat lunch and mingle outside in high school or is that a Hollywood thing?

Yeah, maybe it isn’t all AI.
I still think the voice is AI. I don’t know why people do this. We’re already facing so much slop. Why make it worse and disrespect your audience? Use your very own human voice. This threw me off and made me mistrust the entire video.
- Comment on Making RAM at Home | Dr. Semiconductor 3 months ago:
There’s too much AI being used in the video. Something is off about the voice as well.

Shame youtube removed the like/dislike ratio which we previously used for mass protest against video authors for their wrongdoings. Channels can now shovel shit onto us with no public humiliation inflicted on them in return.

I guess your sense of correct grammar is different from mine. “Fuckin’ Strait” isn’t a proper noun.

I’ve spent more time than I care to admit reading Wikipedia entries on significant people from past centuries. Way too often their life story is full of disease and death. A dozen siblings. All of them suffer the same disease in childhood. Half of them don’t make it to adulthood. Mother dies during childbirth. Father struggles making money from their creative work, dies in a duel. Subject cared for by wealthy uncle. Is affected for the remainder of their life by the childhood disease. Repeat for the next generation.
