Never heard a European or Brit describe any royalty as classy, other than in sarcastic jabs at their mates (e.g “Who do you think you are, the Queen?” when somebody goes for the second-cheapest instant noodle option, instead of the cheapest).
Largely, at least in Britain, they’re pretty widely considered inbred freeloaders, in my experience. Might be very biased, as I’m of a younger generation, but a lot of the older folk I’ve spoken to feel similarly (if, mostly, less hostile).
Most people are completely apathetic at best, I think.

I find that most people I talk to had positive opinions of the late queen, but as you said are apathetic towards Charles at best and disturbed by Andrew. Prince William seems to be highly regarded though.

Constitutional monarchs are even worse. They’re slimy, mincing predators, scavengers sitting on the sidelines.
Modern royals remember the power their ancestors have, and they yearn for that power back. They play pretend that they’re happy being ceremonial monarchs. But really, they’re just biding their time. Monarchies are used to thinking in centuries. So they sit there, waiting on the sidelines, waiting for some crisis of democracy, something that causes people to lose faith in the system. Then they’ll step in and reclaim real power. They’re a bunch of mincing pedophiles just waiting for someone to lose sight of their kid.

Yeah sadly she counts as a royal, but the civilian in the picture is her sister in laws son pre marriage into the royal family. So technically not a royal, but might as well be.
Most people in Norway like the king and the queen, and the crown Prince and the crown princess, and their children (together), they used to like this guy too before he got caught doing all this illegal shit
