Personally i only use youtube to doomscroll “shorts” because I don’t have facebook, instagram or tik tok for that. It’s really no pleasure as such, but a good way to just turn wind down.
My main issue is that most of the information and knowledge that i used to get from reading blog posts, or forum threads, has become videos, with the majority of the content being irellevant

This was a video of a machine treating pomegranate seeds 🤷 don’t ask
But it was filmed in a lot of detail and there was no need to watch the whole thing. The creators should probably have made a highlights video instead.

100% agree. The problem is that there are more and more features that get tugged behind the subscription paywall

With work hours being what they are, you don’t have set times where everyone needs to be at work or go home at the same time. It rural areas, having public transport so often that “you don’t need to check a schedule” would mean empty busses and trails most of the time.
For me, I can tell that I have lived in a city where this was the case. It was great! But where I live now, this isn’t possible. The narrative now is, that people should move into towns, to make this more effective. There is a very fine balance between effectiveness though, and industrialization of living conditions.

This is already the case in many places where it’s possible. It would be a huge waste of resources though, in places that are thinly populated.

I don’t know if they were good or bad. I just tknow that it is not down to an ICE agent to decide and bear consequences on the street like that.

They way I see it, USA can’t be kicked out but it can leave.
That said I don’t see a problem in making a new NATO, without the US and (hopefully) without veto rights

It’s a meme making fun of what is usually described as a man flue.
I can’t imagine a post in a community for memes is supposed to be taken seriously or even always be politically and socially correct
We’re just posting pictures with funny, thought-provoking or some times even controversial text on them, using bold fonts.
