Try pushing on it. Half the time the mounts are basically rails so you don’t have to center the tv on the studs.

I never bother the hotel TV. It’s rarely worth the hassle. If my wife and I watch something, it’s on the MacBook.

I would never use a hotel TV by choice. When it happens, it’s because there’s literally nothing else to do in that moment. But even then, it’s a struggle of shit quality, the most fucked up position in the room imagineable, unintelligible sound quality, and a bombardment of unskippale advertising.
Really, the only thing entertaining is seeing if any previous guests stayed logged into Netflix, then finding weird stuff to add to their ‘Continue Watching’ category.
