We had -13 a couple days and yet our pake has not frozen in about 15 years. Used to freeze every year. People used it as a shortcut for hauling lumber for gods sake.

I am not. I just see how much better my grandparents lives are with their kids and grandkids that they get to see often.
And what if they move to another country for work? You’re still growing old alone.
Not as alone as if I never had any family. I also have 2 brothers so they might have kids and worse case scenario they remember I exist.

Is it though? I am not saying they are not allowed to use them or anything. I just wonder why they use them when everyone else does as well. I have taken buses outside those times and not many retirees or old people take them. If I had the whole day I would probably not take the most crowded bus and take the one that is almost empty.

My issue is that they could literally take the bus 30 minutes later and be alone on the bus. It’s just fascinating that they use them at a time of highest ocupancy.

It’s even worse on public transport. At least where I live. They have the whole day available but decide to use the buses between 7 and 9 in the morning and 15-17 afternoon when most people go to/from work/school

Oh it’s the same issue that google’s alarm or clock or whatever had. Because the time select dial had to actually move to the position you clicked it could do the same as here and select whatever it was on when you clicked okay.
Separating animations from the actual selector is just too hard I guess.

Kinda same in Slovenian. You don’t shake hands, you shake arms. Anything you do with your hands is done with your arms. The word for hand is not used that often.
