The fat content of the raw milk produced by cows ranges from about 3.3% up to 5%.
Don't stop until you hit the saturation point!

I used to work with someone who, mid-afternoon, would declare “ooOOooOo, I think it’s time for a ⨍ɑׁׅ֮ꪀׁׅᝯׁᨮ꫶ׁׅ֮ ᝯׁᨵׁׅ⨍⨍ꫀׁׅܻꫀׁׅܻ” and slink off to the kitchen. We had a Nespresso so I just assumed it was one of those but, no, what she did was this:
- Mug of full-cream milk with several teaspoons of Coffee Mate added
- Microwave until steaming/bubbling
- Mix in three or four Canderel
- Mix in a teaspoon of Nescafé instant coffee
- Vanilla syrup
- Add a couple of coffee granules on the surface where they can dissolve to make a pattern because “that’s what they do at Starbucks”.
So, yeah, these people walk amongst us.

I hear what you’re saying, but I also appreciate their willingness to find a solution for their need.
I ended up with some cases of chocolate plant based muscle milk, which is at best really ok. If I drink it in the morning I’ll throw a fat scoop of instant espresso and some benefiber in it. Covers my morning needs and tastes a little better lol.

Sounds like Vietnamese coffee, where coffee is steamed up into a cup of sweet condensed milk
cheese_greater@lemmy.world 3 days ago
Ill be honest, I had this weird habit as a kid of adding actual ^1/2^&^1/2^ to actual ice cream and shape with a spoon pottery wheel stylw
Varesti@lemmy.zip 2 days ago
I’d take scoops of ice cream and mix them up really fast to make soft serve.

Reminds me of when I routinely added artificial sweetener to my sprite just because I could. (As a young child)
Lumidaub@feddit.org 3 days ago
Don’t let the haters get you down, I do the exact same thing.

TBH I’m feeling pretty validated about my comment already, that upvote to downvote ratio is very favourable.

Just eat a stick of butter, 82% bitch.
AlecSadler@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 days ago
A store near me sells 6% whole milk and it tastes amazing.
cheese_greater@lemmy.world 2 days ago
Wait till youtry 12% extra creamy plain yogurt or 4% “creamed” cottage cheese 🤠
Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca 3 days ago
Y’all could just buy cream…
queermunist@lemmy.ml 3 days ago
If a pouch of drink mix calls for 16.9oz of water, I add it to 16oz. More drink per drink!

I, too, like to live life, deliciously
Lemmyoutofhere@lemmy.ca 3 days ago
“Homogenized” milk here in Canada is 3.8%, so 4% with only one significant digit.
cheese_greater@lemmy.world 2 days ago
T3.8% = 4%
This is wht i fucking hate when companies are legally authorized to pull this fucking economic gangbangert

wait, is powdered milk 100% milk?
Akasazh@lemmy.world 3 days ago
I’m kinda afraid to ask what the powdered milk think is all about, or where it started…
criss_cross@lemmy.world 3 days ago
My parents used to buy it when it was on sale instead of regular milk to try and save money.
I hate powdered milk.
cyberfae@piefed.social 3 days ago
I use it for baking/cooking or in case i run out of liquid milk. I just drink a lot because my appetite gets weird often enough and i end up needing to drink my calories instead.
cheese_greater@lemmy.world 2 days ago
You can get Ensure prescribed u know
HugeNerd@lemmy.ca 3 days ago
It tastes weird but you can use it to make pizza dough, it makes it taste better somehow.
surewhynotlem@lemmy.world 3 days ago

and holding it up and above your face within splashing distance.
psycholocomotor_no2@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 days ago
The saturation is like a weird milky goop. Go any further and you get burfi.
YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 3 days ago
I use canned evaporated milk when making box Mac and cheese for exactly this reason.
cyberfae@piefed.social 3 days ago
Getting whole milk would be easier

“Apparently, other companies only have up to 5% milk in their milk. We made 100% milk. That’s 20 times more milk per milk.” - Cave McJohnson
