We need to sexualise the metric system.
- Comment on [FNAF] If AI Chatbots are stupid today in real life (with the AI-Bubble bursting), how have the FNAF animatronics actually been smart since the 1980s? 1 day ago:
Afton probably sold his soul to Satan for advanced AI tech or something, idk.
Also, artificial intelligence is a LOT more than GPTs. We had AIs that can win against Kasparov since 1997.

I’ve been playing my favourite kind of cozy point-and-click adventure on PC… Doom Eternal. (The demons are the puzzle and you point and click until it is done.) (Doom 2016 is better, tho - no Marauders, more ammo, more upset Hayden…)
As for phone, I’ve been trying out Google PlayPass and it might be the only Google service I keep using (unless/until I find a non-google alternative). I love no longer seeing ads or microtransactions in games. Some games I tried:
- Mini Metro (fun subway/tram/train network building game with daily challenges)
- Monument Valley (puzzle game about impossible architecture, alien geometries, and regret)
- There Is No Game (looks inside, finds game. False advertising smh my head)
- Human Resource Machine (great programming puzzle game, terrible IDE)
- Machinarium (cute robot-themed puzzle game from at least 10, possibly 20 years ago… UI design didn’t age well)
- INMOST (small horror metroidvania-ish adventure thingy)

Yeah… and I don’t think we can leave the outcome to chance. Because wealth disparity, if left unchecked, is still going to exist after this happens (and probably get even worse).
- Comment on Times have changes sadly 2 days ago:
We can still make it happen. The AI isn’t coming as fast as the techbros are hoping. We still have time.
- Comment on Times have changes sadly 2 days ago:
Yeah, having people’s livelihoods threatened tends to get them a little upset.

I am glad you are fortunate enough to not yet suffer the consequences of capitalist automation.

They’re basically the same “adapt or be left behind” hype
- Comment on Times have changes sadly 3 days ago:
Because of all the other stuff connected to “AI” that pisses people off. Deepfakes, slop, interview algorithms, threats to livelihood, big data mass surveillance, autonomous weapons used for human rights violations, …
You can try to convince people not to hate the technology itself, but you’d be putting the cart before the horse. We need to deal with the cause of the problem first.
- Comment on Times have changes sadly 3 days ago:
Unfortunately, big tech soured the entire field. Your fight is with them, not with regular people having imperfect yet understandable human reactions to that.
- Comment on Times have changes sadly 3 days ago:
The problem is that, to most people, the idea of AI doing their job seems like a threat to their livelihoods given the current system. And it’s a reasonable concern to have.
- Comment on Times have changes sadly 3 days ago:
Please elaborate.

“Everything” was supposed to mean chores, not art and all the other stuff that makes life worth living.
Also, there’s this whole “having to earn a living” thing that we haven’t gotten rid of yet.

People saying “women sleep their way to the top” but not realizing that means men* gatekeep promotions with a sexual paywall… and wasn’t #MeToo at least partially about that?
*at least mostly, this being based on heterosexual men alone outnumbering non-heterosexual women in general population and especially in positions of power by a wide margin.
