Yeah dry-fucked duck sounds like a reasonable typo

when i’m really exasperated, and ‘damn’ or ‘shit’ or ‘fuck’ just won’t suffice, one of my go-to’s is ‘fuck a duck!’
i shall now supplement that for the most special of occasions with ‘fuck a duck until it explodes’.
5/5 stars will come again.

I know it’s probably on purpose, but I feel like it needed highlighting.

Showing the price accurate to one-tenth of a Euro makes me feel uncomfortable. Is that €10.80, or is it, like, €10.82 and they rounded?
mercano@lemmy.world 2 months ago
With Chinese currency, the smallest coin is ¥0.1, one jiǎo. 0.1 CNY = 0.013 EUR. They may not be familiar with the convention of always writing the hundredths place, even if it’s zero, used with euros or dollars, especially if they’re using Google Translate for the menu.

8 (八 ba) is considered a lucky number in Mandarin due to its pronunciation similar to “fortune” (发 fa). So you get lots of things priced with 8 (also for telephone numbers, plate numbers, etc.)
