“Cup holder” implies that you’re setting your drink down. The drink must remain in your hand at all times, otherwise it’s a party foul.

Gas is 10% ethanol. Even the car is having a roadie, and I’m supposed to what exactly

Strange rules and no country mentioned. I’m guessing it’s about the USA.
ByteJunk@lemmy.world 3 hours ago
Most countries prohibit sales of alcohol to minors, and when in doubt, the seller must ask for a form of ID. In the US, this is almost always a driver’s license, since there’s no national id card and state id isn’t mandatory AFAIK - people will use that though if they don’t have a driver’s license for some reason.

In the US you can purchase alcohol with the use of a government issued ID card, drivers license, passport, or active duty military ID as all are government issued IDs which display ones age.

I don’t know, man. Based on language alone, at first I thought of Bermuda.

And drive-thru liquor stores.
stupidcasey@lemmy.world 3 hours ago
Technically the drivers license is a field sobriety test, you have to be at least drunk enough to operate a motor vehicle under the influence before you can buy alcohol, they sometimes have you breath in an exhaust pipe if they think you are really sober.
LodeMike@lemmy.today 4 hours ago
You don’t. You need a state ID. Most people just happen to have a drivers license too.
HikingVet@lemmy.ca 6 hours ago
You don’t though. I’ve never had a license yet I can get booze.

If you’re not meant to dabble in addiction, why are there rehabs?
