Every place is different.
Where I live you can only do them at non lighted intersections and if you can do them without having to backup.

It’s pretty confusing. Not everything is taxed, clothing and food aren’t for example, but processed food is. So they can’t include the price? Not every province is the same either, some have pst exemptions, some include both together as an hst.
I’m in AB where it’s simple and you just add 5%.

Minimum 5% tax in Canada too, swings back the other way.
Can’t account for tax on only one side.
