      How much confidence does it take to walk into the ocean? The stakes seem pretty low to me. Now, if that had been a furnace like that other Bible story then we’d be cooking, literally and metaphorically.

    What confidence? He didn’t even see it through. God would have parted the sea for him if he had held his ground. He just didn’t have enough faith, that’s all.
