backstory
I only called one service once, back in 2022 I think. Doctor sounded so bored. Prescribing marijuana over the phone for the weakest claims. 🎼 Australians let us all rejoice. For we are one and FREE (Am so tempteted to remind my students that the FREE part means they should be able to access social media as well, but I’m 90% sure they already found a work around over the christmas break)

Rewatched Scott the Woz on live service games. Made me so happy to be OK with single player games.
I just finished Cairn, and even though it’s not perfect, I had fun (I still reccomend it), and was not raging at xXx_pussyslayer_xXx for one shoting me through a wall, or having to get 10 headshots with a side arm in 1 match or something.
In single player games, other randoms don’t dictate your fun. Its just you and the game working together.

Shame that you didn’t like Nier Automata. If I have to point a flaw, it can have “im14andThisIsDeep” vibes, but I wouldn’t call it awful.
100% I was (still am) biased. Shaun’s was the only thoughts I had until here. Felt unfair that I hated a game so much I’ve never even played.
Opened Steam to check the price and OH BOY. $109 AUD. Guess the demo will have to be my thoughts for the time being

Shaun has a video essay on Stellar Blade. According to him, its very much “can I copy your homework” of Nier Automata, and some sekiro gameplay.
I have only played the the later 2. Nier Automata is something I will never forget, and (IMO) Sekiro is the best Fromsoft+Combat game. Highly recomend both of them

I can’t read Rasputin without thinking of the church doing musical easter plays, and one of their parodies was this song about praising the king.
Jenny Nicholson has a good over view of them. I did at one point find the playlist off all the full plays, but lost it :(
