In China currently it starts with 18 annual leave days and 12 sick days. Than every year, more annual leave days are added.

The UK version, the original, is great. The US version is like stale white bread.

- Comment on Cool Japan 🌸 2 weeks ago:
I have worked with a Japanese company for almost 2 years and never ever again. The racism, incompetence and ass covering is astounding. The way they treat women is also appalling but no one talks about this.
I’ll never understand why western people love Japan, but vilify China. My experience in working in China is a total opposite of Japan.

In China they will run it between Shanghai and Beijing, which is about 1200 kilometer. Currently it is either a 2.5 hour flight plus getting to and from the airport or a 4.5 hour high-speed train which starts and stops in the heart of both cities.
With the maglev the duration will drop to 2 hours. That is not trivial as you suggest. It is a genuine transport solution to counter the more polluting flights. In China people prefer the train over plane wherever possible. It is more comfortable, quiet and enjoyable.

I was with you the first 4 paragraphs. But than the Him and merciful stuff started and you lost me.
That is part of why I personally can’t get on board with any religion. In one way or the other, it always gets snuck in and subtly trying to convert you.
Yes, for the open conversation. Yes to the fact there is no middle ground anymore and everything is extreme. Yes this whole gym thing is ridiculous.
But no to the Middle Eastern carpenter’s sacrifice, eternal life and a new earth.
BTW no downvote from me because I respect your opinion. Even if it is definitely not for me.

Never been able to be sold outside of the US, including Europe or Asia because it would never pass the safety test, says it all.
It also says something about the American safety tests and laws. Americans are so afraid of Chinese cars that pass all safety tests but this unsafe monstrosity roams the streets?

Shanghai also has a Maglev since 2001: 25 years ago, from the airport with a topspeed of 430 km/h.
But this new Maglev will be a proper commercial maglev to replace the older generation high-speed trains.

Chinese train infrastructure is next level. Forget about Japan with their high speed railway and punctuality. For example just Hangzhou East railway station runs 800 trains a day, mostly high-speed trains.
Chinese rail has currently completed testing the CR450 which will be the latest fuxing version to run at operational speed of 400 km/h and will start carrying passengers by the end of year. The next project in development is a maglev running at 600 km/h but is only in prototype for now.
