    I hate this sort of meme/joke because it just implies that people’s skin colour affects their actions rather than their upbringing and personalirt which is pretty fucking racist but with a “progressive” tint.

      Mine was $2500 to correct an open bite, a slight underbite and significant gapping caused by decades of open mouth breathing from chronic (constant) sinusitis. $7 seems bonkers but $2500 was doable for me and fixed a lot of my neck pain, a droopy eyelid (caused by the cross bite) and I’m glad I did it, definitely could not have afforded $7k though, that’s crazy

  Rich white people maybe. I had to shoot my dog because I couldn’t afford to out him down and he was in ao much pain when he peed air bubbles would come out. He was old and it was sad. I don’t even have nor ever had braces. And I ha e white people teeth all snaggly.

  Point is, some of us are fucking hillbillies.

    Yeah I got some experimental dentistry as I kid because it was 10% the cost of braces. It left me unable to floss because it is so painful. And as of today I haven’t been able to go to the dentist in over 20 years. The only thing being white ever got me was no college scholarships.

      You should apply anyway. At least 5 of the various scholarships I got while in College/University were laid aside for someone of some demographic that I didn’t fit, but I fit the other qualifications, and I was the only one that applied. Go through the scholarship books at your local library and use the qualifications to include not exclude, you’ll get results and a free education that way.

    They are barbaric compared to Invisalign. My kids had traditional braces and every few months they’d go get them adjusted aka ratcheted down to the point of pain and the next week would be nothing but soft foods, that still hurt to eat, headaches, tension headaches and bad sleep. Slightly adjusting every week gets you minor soreness at worst for a day or two, it’s significantly more comfortable and at least where I live traditional braces are more expensive. In retrospect we should have probably not done traditional braces for our kids but losing trays/not keeping them on is a real problem with kids and Invisalign
