Oh, that makes way more sense. I’m not sure why but I thought OP meant it being used like “man, that’s so taped” or something lol.
Yeah though, I’m nearly 30 and have used and continue to use taped as a synonym for recording something

The support was forgiveable to me initially with the assunption that they didn’t know but they doubled down on it and I can’t forgive that. I like the company a lot but I’m not going to knowingly indirectly fund hate by buying their stuff.
It’s really sad how right wing tech is now where even the objectively left wing open source/right to repair/privacy space is dominated by bigots. Like even Proton’s CEO is a MAGA

I hate this sort of meme/joke because it just implies that people’s skin colour affects their actions rather than their upbringing and personalirt which is pretty fucking racist but with a “progressive” tint.

This is kind of the most useful part of secondary education too. I’m very introverted but by chance I ended hanging out with a group of very extroverted talented guys who got me in at 3/4 of the companies I’ve worked for in my professional career
My experience is very late 2010s and early pandemic era tech industry focused though. I’m unemployed right now but not even my connections are able to get me on anywhere since nobody’s hiring it seems :(

It was well known a decade ago in the Minecraft community. Truthfully there’s been very few updates for the last few years so this did seem sort of inevitable. It’s sad though since Minecraft doesn’t have a proper competitor right now (something that isn’t just a Unity asset flip). The promise of true modding support alone was enough to get me excited for it
