Wow I completely forgot about Grooveshark. I used to use it a lot

Sounds like Ontario 🙃
- Comment on Currently downloading The Witcher 3 for the first time. Got any advice for me? 1 month ago:
It’s your game you do as you please. I would definitely save scum
- Comment on How do decide what language you speak living on a countries border. 1 month ago:
I live in Ottawa, ON, Canada which has Gatineau, Québec on the other side of the river. A lot of people here are bilingual and will just switch to whatever language works better for the person they’re talking to. The default language on the Québec side is French and the default on the Ontario side is English
- Comment on What games popularized certain mechanics? 2 months ago:
I miss MC Hunger Games servers. Are any still around?
- Comment on The Steam Summer Sale is live now! 4 months ago:
The second KCD is coming out later this year too so nows the time to try it!
- Comment on Elden Ring is "the limit" for From Software project scale, says Miyazaki - multiple, "smaller" games may be the "next stage" 4 months ago:
That sounds good to me, especially if they go back to Dark Souls style world design. I love Elden Ring but the size of the world made it feel sort of empty at times
- Comment on 5 months ago:
I’ve been playing Enotria: The Last Song. So far seems like a solid souls like but it has wicked performance issues right now. I’m really digging the vibe of the main demo city but I’m barely hitting 40fps on low settings with an RTX 3070ti
- Comment on Why does being tall make your belly more vulnerable in case of an attack? 5 months ago:
Yeah I noticed that. This is the second day in a row I’ve seen a post like this
- Comment on TIL you can remove tags such as horror from itch.io using ?exclude=tg.horror in the url. 7 months ago:
Haha I guess it’s also an easy tag to apply to nearly anything. Slightly dark theme? Horror. Mildly upsetting? Horror. Involves a monster of some kind? Also horror.
- Comment on TIL you can remove tags such as horror from itch.io using ?exclude=tg.horror in the url. 7 months ago:
I think it’s because horror’s a fairly easy genre to get into. It’s the same reason there’s a lot of indie horror movies I imagine
- Comment on Hasbro exec says Baldur's Gate 3 "proved for us that people really wanted great D&D games," supports Larian's plan to "take the time we need" 8 months ago:
I read it this way as well. Even if I didn’t trust Larian as a company (I do), it’s pretty clear that taking the time to make a high quality product worked out really well for them.
- Comment on The Steam Spring Sale is now in full swing 8 months ago:
Agreed. Also a good time to buy it. Act 3 was so buggy on release but they’ve been shooting out patches non stop for the last year almost

I was driving a rental scooter last summer and the thing just suddenly stopped in the middle of traffic. It had randomly decided that I was on a sidewalk when I absolutely was not. It was both an embarrassing and a scary situation.
- Comment on PS2 emulator AetherSX2 removed from Google Play Store 8 months ago:
Open source devs have to deal with the most entitled, messed up people, I swear
- Comment on PS2 emulator AetherSX2 removed from Google Play Store 8 months ago:
Was surprised at this since it’s not related to Nintendo in any way, but it turns out it’s not actually related to the Yuzu news:
This doesn’t come as a surprise for many, though, as the AetherSX2 emulator halted development entirely back in 2023, with the developer specifically mentioning the “neverending impersonating, complaints, demands, and now death threats”. Although, it took almost a year for the actual emulator app to be taken down from the Play Store, following the discontinuation of the project
- Comment on What could be wrong with me? 10 months ago:
Do you have anxiety? I had a lot of these issues before I got on anxiety medication when I worked retail.
I think for me it was that my brain was too focused on anxiety and over thinking things that it wasn’t properly paying attention to the job and social aspects
- Comment on Game genres where "It's just more X content" is more than enough 10 months ago:
Kind of applies to the souls series. I’d be happy with any of the games being re-released with only new levels added. I just wanna slap monsters with a sword in beautiful castles
- Comment on How to keep carpet clean? 10 months ago:
I have a small spot cleaner vacuum too and it works well. I just wish it wasn’t so damn loud. Feel bad for my neighbours when I use it
- Comment on The Weekly 'What are you playing?' Discussion 10 months ago:
I ran out of new games to play so I’m back to my default of Dark Souls. Replaying DS2: SOTFS at the moment with a Dex/Faith character.
No matter how many times I replay the games, I can never not go in on dex stats haha
- Comment on Do Teslas have OBD connectors? 10 months ago:
I’ve been seeing legacy appended to a lot of things and it always annoys me. The one that annoys me the most is “Legacy News/Media”; as if the future of news is random blog or twitter posts.
- Comment on What's the deal with buying single cans out of a multipack at a bottle shop? (Australia) 11 months ago:
It’s often like this in Canada but not always. Usually depends on if the individual cans or bottles have barcodes and are labelled for individual sale.
I’ve never had a cashier get mad for attempting to buy an invididual can/bottle not marked properly though

We have inner and outer walls encircling the city and raised rail lines passing between major points of interest. I’d be prepared!
