- Comment on Has anyone attempted to create a Fediverse-based Character AI like service? 5 days ago:
That would be pretty expensive to host so I’m not sure anyone would want to without a profit incentive

in the latest Beta
Forgot that snapshots are technically betas and thought they were updating an ancient Beta version
- Comment on Nintendo Responds to Leaks: "Not Official" 1 week ago:
That’s true, but they still usually aim to be the first “next gen” console on the market every generation. Admittedly it probably would really affect them if they didn’t hit that but that’s how they’ve always done it
- Comment on From Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid V will turn 10 in 2025, believe it or not 2 weeks ago:
Yeah, obviously. The interesting thing is that the Witcher 3 and Bloodborne hold up so well though and are still actively talked about. The Witcher 3 still looks beautiful even without the recent upgrades and Bloodborne could look fantastic if it wasn’t limited by the PS4 specs.
It’s kind of a testament to the fact that we’ve mostly plateaud in terms of real graphical advances imo

I think I ordered a Ratatat vinyl from the same seller, or Japanese discogs sellers are just the best. They sent me a free 1970s Japanese city pop vinyl and a bunch of stickers for fun.

- Comment on Denmark: Union website deindexed by Google in the firm’s latest search experiment 4 weeks ago:
If I’m understanding correctly, that sounds like what Canada did recently and Google did eventually come to an agreement with the government
- Comment on how do you separate your clothes and linens to avoid fabric degradation and bleeding? 5 weeks ago:
Are you washing in hot water? My clothes are far from expensive but I’ve never had that issue
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
I don’t think so but tbh it sounds like you’re just in a bit of a shitty team. My coworkers with kids do the same thing but so do I with no kids. I can just disappear for a bit as long as I’m getting my work done

- Comment on how badly could a pelican fuck me up in a fight? 5 weeks ago:
I don’t live in a place that’s even remotely hospitable for pelicans but you’re right. It just kind of happens sometimes. Like a fact of life
- Comment on Employees at FromSoftware owner Kadokawa reportedly "thrilled" about possible Sony takeover 5 weeks ago:
It’s going to be many many years before we see a PS6 emulator. We’re only just starting to get Bloodborne working on PC now
- Comment on Valve may be working on a new kind of Steam Machine 1 month ago:
Much better environment for it now than the first time around. They’ve had a lot of time to refine SteamOS and have much more hardware experience with the Steam Deck.
- Comment on What's your favourite it's all in the gameplay game? 1 month ago:
I think I’d say Minecraft since I’ve probably put tens of thousands of hours into it since 2011

It’s your game you do as you please. I would definitely save scum
- Comment on How do decide what language you speak living on a countries border. 3 months ago:
I live in Ottawa, ON, Canada which has Gatineau, Québec on the other side of the river. A lot of people here are bilingual and will just switch to whatever language works better for the person they’re talking to. The default language on the Québec side is French and the default on the Ontario side is English

- Comment on Elden Ring is "the limit" for From Software project scale, says Miyazaki - multiple, "smaller" games may be the "next stage" 6 months ago:
That sounds good to me, especially if they go back to Dark Souls style world design. I love Elden Ring but the size of the world made it feel sort of empty at times
- Comment on 7 months ago:
I’ve been playing Enotria: The Last Song. So far seems like a solid souls like but it has wicked performance issues right now. I’m really digging the vibe of the main demo city but I’m barely hitting 40fps on low settings with an RTX 3070ti

- Comment on TIL you can remove tags such as horror from itch.io using ?exclude=tg.horror in the url. 9 months ago:
Haha I guess it’s also an easy tag to apply to nearly anything. Slightly dark theme? Horror. Mildly upsetting? Horror. Involves a monster of some kind? Also horror.
