Well that sucks. Several houses in Belgrave including mine have been without power since 18:30. Would have been good to have aircon this evening.
On the positive side Iām feeling virtuous for having recently run up the generators, checked the oil, topped up the petrol, etc. So we have a fridge / freezer and, if we still have no power tomorrow, will still be able to work.
Itās officially below 30 degrees. Yay!

I had the brilliant idea tonight when filling the water tray for animals to put the timer on and set it to a slow trickle. Thatāll keep it topped up and I know some animals are more likely to drink from running water than still
It would be so cool to have a solar powered water fountain (with a filter to sieve out mosquito larvae and kill them)
Trying toast with mustard. I donāt know if this will be a good idea or not, but yay to trying new things.

I just assumed you all died, itās good to hear that at least one of you is still alive. I donāt do well with heat, if I didnāt have AC Iād either be camped out in the shower running cool water over myself or on the floor crying. I wish I was more like Miss Meow, who is currently voluntarily outside.

I got a dm from Duenan a while ago. He said he was doing well so I left it at that.
Duenan left after TinyBreak. They still post on the other place regularly. Same with Baku.

Just chatting about journaling.
I absolutely adore my diary from last year, itās filled with stickers and washi tape and random colours where Iāve felt like it, along with noting all of the things I did like dinners out and drives we went on or even just things like the day Boyo lost his sunnies in the bay. It helps that it was a Kikki K creativity diary and while I didnāt utilise it to its full extent, it did inspire me with some of the prompts. Iām sad they didnāt do another one this year. Lately Iāve been getting into junk journaling, but itās felt a little harder because I feel like I want it always to be perfect, but I donāt know what that perfect is. I keep reminding myself that no one is ever going to see it unless I choose to show them. Anyway, Iāve got it into my head that I want one of those little instax polaroid printer so I can print little pictures to add to my diary and journal, think Iām going to go and buy one after work.

The girlfriend has put out a box of clothes to be donated. Most of the things I want to get rid of are things she got me from an op shop previously, so I found some things to sacrifice to cover them up.
Sometimes I think she wants me to dress like a lesbian that went to the op shop to dress like peak 90s JTT, but these clothes are just cheap and nasty. Iāll wear the worldās ugliest pattern if the fabric is nice but these arenāt op shop gold, itās the other 99%.

Iāve turned the water mains off because the outside tap has sprung a leak. Good news is Iāve had my morning shit. Bad news is I need a shower.
