There’s no way to know without feeling them. Both synthetic and natural fibers come in different grades, eg fine wool vs coarse wool. Also what is the knit or weave like, it affects the feel and drape. Just go with the one you like the colour and style of, because that’s the one you’ll get the most enjoyment out of.

What did I miss, we have a bot now? Awesome stuff! Thankyou to whoever used their clever know how! Today was a bit of a nothing day for me. Have lots of chores to do this weekend but have done none so far. I guess I’ll have to cram it in tomorrow, but yeah that’s probably just wishful thinking. Then I’ll feel annoyed at myself and sad for not planning better and being more motivated. In the evening I have dinner at partners friends place, not super keen on going but feel obligated, which will round off my bleh feelings for the day. So that’s my Sunday sorted.

Life happens. Lots of people have a missing tooth for various reasons, either from accidents, decay/weak teeth, lack of fluoride as kids etc. You wouldn’t know it though, because modern dentistry can make the replacement look so natural. I know someone with a false tooth due to lost it as a teen from a bad bike fall. Even if your reasons are different, it doesn’t matter. It’s natural to be upset, but also remember you’re doing so well now and looking after yourself! Hope you feel better soon!

This is my hesitation about ever living in an apartment. I’m a light sleeper and neighbours being noisy through paper thin walls would be a nightmare. I think there’s a desperate need for legislation to set minimum sound proofing standards for apartments. It would make them much more desirable.

Fellow night wakers, I have a question. Sometimes if I wake up in the night and cant go straight back to sleep, I’ll grab my phone and do mindless things on it until I feel drowsy again. I’ve always thought this is a bad habit, but is it really? Distracts me and I go back to sleep eventually. I have it in dark mode so minimal bright light. So should I kick the habit? What an alternative?

I was a bit shocked recently when I found out a friends 12 year old could barely read, and that according the school and the parents the kid is educationally doing just fine. I mean what!? That’s nowhere near fine. How is this good for anyone? The kid has no learning difficulties according to the parents. They are getting him a tutor now. He seems to be of average brightness, so having good reading at 12 should be no problem. Everyone has let the kid down. School and parents both.

If it’s a Myers-Briggs type test, It’s been debunked as not much better than horoscopes. Vague traits that might seem adaptable to almost anyone, and no correlation to job suitability. en.m.wikipedia.org/…/Myers–Briggs_Type_Indicator

I love pan fried dumplings. Have tried cooking at home and they are never as good as the restaurant ones. Have given up, it’s just one of those things that the pros do better. Steamed at home are fine tho.

I have no kids and still struggle to keep the place decent. Mess is so easy to make and cleaning is such a chore. Literally every action to exist makes mess. Eat food, use toilets, walk around, wear clothes etc. Not to mention general stuff and storage and actually doing things and living life. I wonder if people with pristine houses just sit and stare into space most of the time, so no mess is created. The way I see it, if regular cleans are getting done and nothing is unhygienic, good enough. My house is lived in. It’s reality not instagram.

Seeing that muppet song made me think I’ve never seen the muppet show properly, only snippets here and there. It feels so familiar because it’s everywhere in pop culture. Looked it up, and it’s on Disney! Have added to my watch list.
Severance spoiler
Have had a few days to digest the season finale and I am satisfied it was a good ending. Questions were answered. Lots of unexpected blood. Accidental death of Mr Drummond felt deserved. I’m not happy about innie Mark leaving Gemma at the door, but the alternative was his death and loosing Helly, so it was inevitable. Michick and marching band rocked.

I have been avoiding it because from previews it looks like a sad movie where bad things happen to animals, so not something I want see in my current mood. I don’t actually know anything about it though, it’s the vibe I got? If you tell me it’s happy I’ll see it.

Severance spoiler
I have watched. Big episode. The conversation between Mark and Mark was done so well. Started polite, like when you meet a stranger, but very quickly it emerged that they both want to live their lives and Mark S felt he would have the dud end of the bargain. Severance has such a stark way of showing how a person deliberates with themselves over choices, how there can be pros and cons in decisions for different aspects of our lives. Did not expect Drummond to die. Did not expect Milchick to still be around after last episode’s monosyllabic confrontation. I’m glad the goat lived. Im glad Gemma was rescued. Milchicks marching band dance moves were impeccable. Hope the next season isn’t 3 years away.
