First I’ve heard of it.
As a dude only grew up with an older brother so can’t really speak much about this that’ll help. It’s not the same concept(s) and not nearly as severe but as the youngest I got the shorter stick lol.
There’s also the concept (or expectation) that the ‘single’ daughter is expected to do a lot of the caring for elderly parents which is completely unfair and seemingly very very common. Came up far too often when reading about it with all the care stuff going on here at my place. Some of those stories were pretty fucked up.

Back from the beach yesterday…

Car tyre: -1
Crawled to a servo in werribee about 11am. Sat there for 4 hours waiting for a tow. Luckily bro and SIL were at the werribee zoo and gave us a lift back. Left car at the servo and key with the servo dude for the tow (quite common apparently had my doubts though).
Sat next to bro/SILs bubz… he woke up, had one look at me and started crying.
Back home at 5pm. Out for dinner for some overpriced gnocci but the garlic focaccia well up there. Sat next to same bubz who was hitting me on the arm and laughing at me for 2 hours.
Apparently tow arrived at 8pm lol.
I’d give yesterday a solid 6/10.
Coulda been worse.

As a kid used to boogie board the backwash (reverse wave?). When it meets an incoming wave it launches you ⬆️. In hindsight was pretty stupid (miss the wave and you hit the wall lol) but good times.

For the cooking (I’ve been blamed a lot too which I’m sick of) have to remind her she taught me. Usually ends the complaint lol.

At the p’s… the complaining is getting too much so left a jar and a whole lot of 5/10/20c coins on the kitchen table. Basically a swearing jar but for complaining about things that no one cares about.
Kicked it off by telling ol’ boy off about the position of the butter in the fridge. Cost me 20 cents.
Bread board not parallell to the edge of the kitchen bench… And I’m 50 cents down.
I’m losing money but geez I should have thought of this before. Haven’t had any complaints in 2 days.
