Not the best hole, but it’s my hole.
Pure clay from 10cm down to 60cm. Guessing that’s alright. Will double down the size of the hole and amount of concrete… if it falls over I’m not digging that shit out again and will dry clothes on their side.

The maschine is pretty handy, also not bad as a generic controller for plugs and can put it in mackie mode without too much headache. This one is a dinosaur mk1 so only works w/ v2 software not 3.
but ee all the faders on the bcfs work, not bad given their age and reputation lol… noisy as hell though:

Escaped down the beach for the w/e.
Brought the 2nd BCF2000 down. Plan is to get a ghetto mixing thing going with the maschine in the middle on send / plugin / transport control duties. But! set it in a big chunk of sandstone or red gum sleepers (or both maybe sandstone sides?) that’s lying around that I’ll angle grind. Probably pointless / impractical but would maybe look nice with a beach theme. If it flops Gibson can have the second BCF lol (if it works haven’t tried it in a while).

I think I’ve been lucky with the behringer stuff. Only have the BCF2000 x 2 (all the motors still working!), a headphone amp and this sub which is the only thing that’s failed. Luck of the draw!

Hooray fixed the studio subwoofer. It decided to cark it a few days ago with no warning.
Turned out that the internal molex thingo holding the 2 pins feeding the drivers had melted (! oops) and a few of the caps were loose from vibration lol. Notorious company (behringer) for cold shitty soldering.
Good save considering I had no idea what I was fkn doing.

Happy that’s done. Nice clean ferment. pH about 3.9 so in the safety zone. 1 more big one to go in melbs then to find some little bottles for it.
