If it were me and was that worried I’d worry about yourself melba and ignore the cat if you can… if you feel your health is at risk it’s you first.
I know you’ve just lost your special cat, but if this new one is affecting your mental state, then preserving that mental state is the most important thing.
Perhaps there’ll be another kitty soon in the future.

My gramps (WW2) never said many words about his time over there.
The only real story he’d happily tell was in tobruk, they captured a bunch of italian doctors and locked them up. Doctors were separated and kept in the doctors quarters away from general.
Every night they let the italian docs out (although they were let out almost whenever they wanted), they’d sit around, drink, smoke and share medical techniques.
They all wrote to each other for years after the war.
He also strictly prohibited anyone in the family going to the parades which was interesting. Didn’t give a reason, just went silent when asked.

Had a wholesome moment with the cleaning lady that p’s get yesterday. She’d be mid 60’s chinese. Was pulling some chillies off the tree for her and she came out really enthusiatic asking about it for 10 mins telling me all the different parts of the tree in mandarin lol.
She was trying to haggle me for how many she could have. We went from 30 to 70. I lost but I had nothing that would work against her strategy.

Heavy discussions last night.
Looking at intervention for ol’ girl. I can’t get that weight up if she keeps refusing ensure (she keeps tipping it down the sink when it’s mixed up ready to go in). Was blamed by her. It’s irrational.
Meltdown if you do, meltdown (and severe consequences) if you don’t. “All you want to do is get rid of me”.
Stuck.
Can’t do anything right, just falls on its face.
We’re well beyond gentle suggestion.
When she goes in it’ll be stressful and miserable for her (bad for non-amnestic MCI), more nutrition and on a drip (good for NA MCI), no excercise (bad).
What do you do. What the correct thing to do (peg and drip) is also wrong.
How tf do you weigh this up w/o feeling guilt.

Can’t believe how lost I got last night. Ended up using the stars for bearings to get home which brought back memories lol.
Stars are still useful for navigation when you have a useless cheapo phone.
