When I was young and tried to get dates on tinder I tried to come up with a carefully thought out opening line for every match. That hardly worked and probably had the opposite effect. Once I started to just don’t give a shit, and ask directly if they would like to meet for a beer, coffee, bowling or something I got quite a few dates.
If I couldn’t get a date planned within the first few messages, or the second day after matching, I just moved on. A lot of people are just interested in validation and are not really interested in meeting up.
This guy’s message is a bit edgy, but at least he’s straight to the point. She probably ignored him, and he just moved on.

True. But a relative of mine will follow me around the house and try to restart the conversation (monologue) every time we invite the whole extended family over (twice a year). I cannot leave the house, but I try to find stuff todo, and engage in conversations with others. When he finally gets a hold of me I have to listen to all the “cool” shit he does at work. It’s basically just bragging.

Meanwhile Trump is being controlled by Netanyahu, not because he is a Jew, because he’s a fascist. Oh, and money

Would be cool to see a decentralized journal or something. No idea how it would work actually work, but since research is supposed to be peer reviewed, why not just let the whole structure of it become open and decentralized?
Before cryptocurrencies really went to shit and became so toxic/scammy, I used to believe crypto could help decentralize it by democraticing the process and making it fully transparent, while also rewarding authors and peer reviewers for their work. But alas

More like machines bad, humans good. But that doesn’t really apply well to 3D printing. Those pens are horrendous. Might also just be that I’m really crappy to draw things in general tho

Big difference between “smart home stuff” and stuff compatible with home assistant. You host home assistant yourself on your own hardware and everything is connected in one interface. You only need one app, or one webpage. No shady actors get access to your home, you control everything.

I’m no expert, but what would be the benefit of finding the aerodynamics of a spherical Saddam… in a vacuum? I guess it would be easy to calculate at least
