    Yeah, choking is the sort of thing people who do hook suspension may decide is outside their risk profile, but plenty of people will try it as their first kink act thinking it’s not that dangerous

  Please, no belts. Something that can be cut with scissors, and have said scissors on hand. Limbs (including heads) swell when cut-off from blood supply. Something that requires some degree of looseness to remove, like a belt, should never be used to restrain a limb, unless it’s being used as a tourniquet.

    To add: get some cheap trauma shears. They work better than normal scissors for cutting through stuff, and could handle a normal belt pretty handily (if that’s your thing, still shouldn’t use one tho)
