I’m pretty sure that’s a Japanese soaking tub at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
Yes the windows are one way mirrors. Good way to finally fuck at a window with any risk.

In my state (tenant laws are good here) we could withhold rent (ideally in a seperate bank account) until key things are fixed like an elevator.
Get a lawyer and organize rent withholding for the entire building. That’ll get them to fix the elevator right quick.

And there’s the problem. The things good-people would do with thier money to better society don’t have a good return. You don’t grow or even maintain your wealth so it runs out.
These diamond spoon assholes that hoard thier wealth like dragons are a product of their environment. Gotta be an asshole to make the line go up and never down.

Also make it durable. Thicker. Heavier. I’m going to slap a case on it otherwise

The issue there is you’d never get paid that kinda money.
Even at 200k I don’t think that’s worth it.

Ahh. So they’re not just lazy, they’re in on it. Gotcha.

Now I wonder if all that extra Kamala money she had leftover from donations could’ve gone to an organization to fix this American nightmare. Give us back the American dream.
The start is voting in democrats so we have a majority in DC in 2 years. The org could also help back these protests to raise awareness by making local adverts on billboards/public trans/radio.
Make it a 4 year campaign to flip America blue. Then we might be able to fix some shit.

I think having an unlocked symbol for standard SMS would’ve helped that…

For some reason I thought you’d end with the two terrans being Cheech and Chong.

The single best feature of this game is you can task your villagers.
Defend against invasion, hunt wild game, fish, chop (and replant) trees, farm (and replant), milk cows, cook food and even manage chest inventory.
Think of all your chests and farms in Terraria but instead of your villagers standing around all day they actually help out.
Put your ore in the monster drops chest? A random NPC walks up and moves it based on your tags.
Its super fun to reorganize your entire inventory by adjusting tags and they all flock to fix everything.

I don’t think this works for you but when I got a root canal I made a grilled cheese and cut it up into cubes. Then threw it into tomato soup and ate the soggy cheese bites in sauce. It was delicious.

My initial dental work was some 30 years ago so they didn’t have the nice strong resin fillings of today. Shit happens. I’ll have dentures or implants eventually.
- Comment on Retribution would be not pulling out his teeth but his testicles 4 weeks ago:
This happened to me in the USA when I was 8-10 years old. It was a state sponsored program for low income families. They hit me with like 6 fillings I bet I didn’t need. They went to my school and parents gave permission but weren’t present so they just did what they wanted.
So now I require confirmation for all work done, x-rays and second opinions.
The fillings needed replacing over time and eventually got 5 crowns now…

With any luck it would be Alien archeologists that want to observe the rare primitivities and not intervene.
The prime directive.

What if they need water?
Drain our oceans and fuck up our ecosystems and weather balance.
The ocean is earths heatsink. Imagen extreme temperature changes across the planet. All life as we know it could end.
For fun I asked AI…
what are the consequenses of aliens stealing half of our ocean water?
Oh, what a fascinating (and somewhat alarming) scenario! Let’s imagine it, shall we?
Ecological Impact:
-
Marine Life: If half of our ocean water vanished, marine ecosystems would be devastated. Many species of fish, coral, and other marine life would struggle to survive in the drastically altered environment. The reduction in available water would likely cause mass extinctions.
-
Weather Patterns: The oceans play a crucial role in regulating Earth’s climate. With significantly less water, we would see dramatic changes in weather patterns. Areas that depend on the ocean for moisture might experience severe droughts, while others could face unpredictable storms.
Human Impact:
-
Food Supply: Many communities around the world rely on the ocean for their primary food source. The loss of half the ocean would lead to a sharp decline in fish and other seafood, causing food shortages and affecting the global food supply chain.
-
Economic Impact: Industries such as fishing, tourism, and shipping would face catastrophic losses. Coastal communities that depend on these industries would suffer economically.
Environmental Impact:
-
Sea Level: If aliens took half of the ocean water away, sea levels would drop drastically. While this might seem like a good thing for areas currently threatened by rising sea levels, it would expose vast areas of the seabed, creating new environmental challenges.
-
Temperature Regulation: Oceans act as a giant heat sink, absorbing and distributing heat around the planet. Without this balance, we could see more extreme temperature fluctuations and accelerated climate change.
Global Panic:
-
Geopolitical Tensions: Countries might blame one another for not preventing the alien intervention, leading to international conflicts.
-
Technological and Scientific Response: There would be a global race to develop technologies to either recover the lost water or adapt to the new reality.
In summary, if aliens stole half of our ocean water, the consequences would be catastrophic, impacting every aspect of life on Earth. Now, let’s hope this remains in the realm of science fiction! 😊 What sparked your curiosity about this scenario?

This sounds less like a classical arranged marriage and more like parents introducing their kids to each other.
