Part of the issue IMO is that so many of our Lemmy communities are just copies of subreddits. The bot creators see a subreddit shaped hole so of course they want to fuck it. Having communities with new original themes might help deter the bots, and the natural content might be more interesting too!

All default subreddits are karma farms because bots need to farm certain karma level and account age before they can be used for propaganda and/or astroturfing.

Holy shit, dude, I can’t even tell what this post is about because your UI is blown up way too big and it’s distracting me!
Please, allow me to show you how to fix this: Go into Developer Options, and then do a search for “minimum width” (sometimes it’s called “smallest width”, depending on the device), and increase that number until you can actually fit a decent amount of content on the screen. A setting around 450-550 works best on most screens.

My phone has a 5.7" screen which is about as normal as it gets. It’s okay to be embarrassed because you didn’t know about the setting. It’s the very first thing I change when I get a new phone.

Hell yeah! Whats the point in having ~2k resolution if everything in the UI gets blown up bigger than it was in the days of 640x480? Do your letters look that much smoother? Do you like only being able to fit a single sentence on screen at a time? If I’m paying for that screen real estate, I want to use it all!
