I think the next Lemmy Shitpost on this should be something on US Republicrazy due to the direction this election went.
- Comment on Steam Now Warns Consumers That They're Buying a License, Not a Game During a Purchase 5 weeks ago:
Problem there is the games I have in Steam which are Secret of Mana, Trials of Mana, and GTA 5 I was looking at and thinking about whether or not to get, are not coming up on GOG.

I’m a member in this community since I joined it sometime ago wanting to know what Lemmy Instances there are, but I’m not sure where I should be directed to if it were to be locked.

- Comment on Display picture of one of my posts in Koalawalla Woods went missing 2 months ago:
Okay, I hope it was a false positive. If that is the case, would I be okay re-uploading the image in question? And if it happens again and I have not received any notification, either in my messages or e-mail, about why its being removed, then I will likely need an admin here to look into it for me.
When something like this happens and its not a false positive and there is any actual reason for it, I would prefer to know why to avoid any legal issues.

- Comment on I backed my car into a cop car the other day... 4 months ago:
You are lucky the cop didn’t get out of their car, come to your driver’s side window, and point a gun at you yelling, “GET OUT OF THE F***ING CAR NOW! YOU ARE UNDER ARREST FOR RECKLESS VEHICLE REVERSING!”, while preparing the open the door or smash the window in to pull you out by force and drag you down to the ground to arrest you.

And don’t forget to filter „xitter“ as that is probably also recommended.

- Comment on Infinite spinning issue when commenting on a post 6 months ago:
I just followed these instructions and tried to post the same comment in c/enshittification while I had the networks console not minimized, and it says “error: language_not_allowed” and I not sure why as I also choose English as the language.

Uh, F12 here only makes a bar appear for adjusting screen brightness.

I’m not banned from that community and there is nothing listed in the modlog of that community either as I just checked this, and I do select a language before trying to post.

- Comment on Anyone else travel to see the eclipse just to have clouds come in right before totality? 7 months ago:
Well, here, I had clouds that had gotten in the way of the eclipse on Monday, even though it had gotten to a sliver of sun left before the moon moved away. I was able to see that there was dim sunlight here when there was a break in the clouds and seem mysterious in a way to me.

Sounds like its a case of Enshittification happening to that once useful website.

Not sure, but better hope that it doesn’t disappear because this fox is fighting to get his domain back.

I just hope they don’t come up with dead fediverse theory next.
- Comment on I keep salt and sugar in identical bottles. A mistake was bound to happen, and it just did. 10 months ago:
This is probably why it is usually a good idea to label your bottles or containers with names like salt, sugar, baking soda, flour, etc.
- Comment on stupid smart TVs 10 months ago:
Not sure what anecdote is, but I’m actually quite upset about these shenanigans the companies that produce the current flat screen stuff they allow to happen in the first place.
- Comment on I got this popup ad on my TV **while watching a DVD** 10 months ago:
Maybe someone will get the idea to start !dumbtvsarewanted@lemmy.world for that and it could end up going as far as being dedicated to find, repair and exchange CRT TV as well.
- Comment on I got this popup ad on my TV **while watching a DVD** 10 months ago:
And then someone gets the idea to find a way to play a VHS instead and be like “Let’s see you read that, you fucking spying idiots!”
- Comment on I got this popup ad on my TV **while watching a DVD** 10 months ago:
Sounds like the next conference you are going to have in that room is with the Supervisor or the CEO about either downgrading that shit and have everything wired instead, or physically ripping out the antenna is going to happen.

And then find out you are in Triangulum, the Galaxy known as M33, and wonder how the hell did you end up two million seven hundred thousand light years away.

If you rather go blind than trusting any digital maps, then the only other option is going back to old fashion paper maps that existed before Google Maps was a thing.

And then you see the route trajectory making you turn into a river to flood your vehicle, or worse, have you turn onto a beach because the route trajectory goes right into the ocean like it thinks you are driving some sort of boat mobile.
- Comment on stupid smart TVs 10 months ago:
Or why build a radio into a TV to listen to music when the stereo system is already during that job?
- Comment on stupid smart TVs 10 months ago:
Well then, just hope that your neighbor doesn’t turn around to pair into your device and blast porn at full volume on your TV, get you pissed off as to WTF you can’t turn it off, end up throwing the whole thing into the Recycle Bin, and look into some kind of CRT TV that can’t be f***ed with like you are also pissed off with the current company that produces the currently flat screen stuff.
