Plenty of water.
Use your windows to create wind tunnels.
Put something up against the windows if there’s no breeze to stop the sun beaming in.
Watermelon is cheap at the mo.
Take cold showers in the middle of the day.
Freeze a few small ziplock bags of water. Wrap a dry flannel around them and put them on the back of your neck, your feet etc.

Unless they are planning to start deeming damage to something…like property, as terrorism.
- Comment on Your Search Results Are Getting Sloptimized: How companies are gaming the chatbot internet 1 week ago:
“As a result, the SEO industry is scurrying to figure out how to get search bots to recommend a given product—a practice sometimes called “GEO,” for generative-engine optimization.” they cooked it to oblivion.
Search is so broken, my mentality has gone back to to pre-internet days. If i need a product i don’t trust the web to gov my impartial info, and I don’t trust online shopping anymore the quality/price/monopolies that take the mick etc - they made it like that and its just too hard. Id rather manage without. or use a bank of maybe 5-10 known/trusted sites.
- Comment on Judge in Palestine Action Case Refuses to Recuse Himself Over Bias Claims 1 week ago:
“In the latest trial, the jury found Charlotte Head, 29, Samuel Corner, 23, Leona (Ellie) Kamio, 30, and Fatema Rajwani, 21, guilty of criminal damage. Corner was also convicted of GBH without intent.
But Justice Johnson is set to sentence them as terrorists, an unprecedented move that was kept secret from the jury during the trial, while the media was banned from reporting on it. He will add a ‘terrorist connection’ to the charges under section 69 of the Sentencing Act 2020.“
There we go. The police state…for pretty much criminal damage. A individual who thinks his opinion is above the law, however is happy to convict people who have harmed property as terrorists.

Agree these emerging business are a great route to work for many. Practical support, that’s not (overweighted by middlemen and fake professional) could be a good win to communities.

Is this a public complaint that anyone can sign?
- Comment on The Dead Economy Theory 3 weeks ago:
I agree some people want violence. The problem is you are describing the people in charge. Usually they are trying to placate (well at least inside the country) but now there are the ones broadly inflicting it.
How do you avoid that? You can’t and they have taken over the means to do it and with the law, the rights to do so.

Yup. All i can hear is gluttony and vanity….I am making myself sound self righteous to the point of religious. Whats worse buying £25 mascaras or me. The world pisses me off at times.
Maybe i need to buy myself something pretty from a shoplifter. 😍
- Comment on Boots stores ban for boy after £100,000 shoplifting sprees 1 month ago:
How do you get 60k worth of goods in 11 visits? And a £400 fine. That lucrative and seemingly attractive.
I’d like to have pity for the corps but f them. My appeal to play fair is getting low, esp to a store selling overpriced makeup and tat. Actual chemist will still survive fine.
- Comment on Met police arrest pensioner for ‘jury crime’ already ruled not a crime 1 month ago:
So keep on trying to prosecute even though she was acquitted previously. The UK really is scared of protesters. Remember this! They are scared of you rising up.
Individuals have a right to a fair trial; And a jurors have a right to know what their legal rights are…its not up to a judge to dictate if they do/don’t or when.
This will lead to more miscarriages of justice. They never learn, the contempt for the public is astounding.
- Comment on What Can Antifascists in the UK Learn From Antifa in the US? 1 month ago:
Agreed. People have been asking and asking. They have been educating. It does nothing. We were told we could have a say and protest. Then they ignored and banned it.
We do not have a democracy and being reasonable gets us nowhere.

It kinda did us good, we got some freedom too. The field at the end of the beer garden (after a coke that you drank like it was Bacardi & Coke) was where adventure lay. The last thing you wanted was an adult and a gourmet dinner.

I did expect a bit more ragebait in the article but its just common sense guidance, the police aint gonna be visiting if your child gets hold of your phone.

How it’s transacted is another option and you are correct these kind of techniques can be useful. Tactics are used against us as consumers so it should be used in reverse.

- Comment on A new homelessness law in Wales is being called 'world-leading' 4 months ago:
There’s a lot of bolster in that article and not enough real facts of what they will be doing. Jist of it was “moving away from one that responds to crisis and towards one that is firmly focused on prevention”. Stating services can work together for 6 month before homelessness occurs. And the only mechanism I saw was ensuring care leavers are given priority on social housing.

Do you think the jump from viewing on pc to viewing on mobile phone may play a part?
On a big old square screen you could look a decent amount of replies fast, phone scroll through 2/3 long posts becomes a chore.
- Comment on How Big Tech Killed Online Debate 4 months ago:
Its always been somewhat of an issue, but more recently the shut down has also been facilitated by the platforms, as they have an agenda, are concerned by legal issues or straight up want to flex authority.
I personally feel good debate is better in the real world, chat with people and open your mind. Its always a good way to get people practising their critical thinking skills.
- Comment on Alton Towers bans people with anxiety from using disability pass 4 months ago:
Genuine question? Where would you go?
The thing with Alton is the sheer amount of people, it’s loud, it’s hyper. I know they have the gardens, but they are still buried in the middle.
So where can you visit? that gives you fun but without an over exaggerated atmosphere that comes with it.
I personally like aquariums and gardens.

- Comment on Why Owning Nothing Is So Expensive 4 months ago:
Reminds me of the old saying around, Cant be conservative if you have nothing to conserve. It really does come into play when we have young trying to build a life and have stability. Ripping that away and renting everything back does not build communities.
