Bill Cat has settled in very well. He is eating again, he is active, he is better than ever at peeing in the litter box , he is curious about his surroundings and wants to go out , I think he’s a little bored so I’ll make him some toys😊

Getting ready for summer by investing in some blockout curtains. Taking down the semi-sheer dark coloured bullshit roller blinds. Gonna start with adhesive rod hooks but I see renters are allowed to drill mounts these days. I think I’d only need 1 extra hole and could do the sheer/blockout combo. Couldn’t give a flying fuck about body corporate insisting on dark curtains, they’ll never know. Love a project!

Buy some of the blackout window film. It helps loads. Peels off easy too when renting.

I want something I can open and close or stick up and take down. I did get some of the plastic blockout sheets but they don’t make em big enough for my window, so I had to carve them up and it looks like arse. I’ll figure something out!

can just put up sheer curtains instead. Store the rollers nicely and put them back when you leave. We had the ol’ aluminium venetians for our last house stuffed in a cupboard for 12 years :P

I feel like I kicked off a bit of a boot buying trend at work. All these women commented how nice my new boots look and now they’re ordering boots for their husbands. One woman got the caramel Craftmens. They look good in photos, even the quick ones I took on my phone, but are an off looking yellowy brown in person. I’m sure once they have some wear on them they’ll look great though.

Urg, flash back to retail days with broken Easter Eggs. Somehow did not overdose, but hindsight tells me I definitely should have.
Scratch that - I overdosed on shitty chocolate. The good stuff is still worth it.
