While I fully agree, the meme kind of misses the point.
Money is power and power is the ability to do what you want. Once you get so much that you can do anything that society allows, if itâs gone to your head and corrupted you, you see the social taboos of society as a restriction on your freedom.
Thatâs why they always talk about freedom and that we should be removing social and government barriers, they teacher the limit and honestly donât know where to go from there.
Iâve heard that the trans underground has the ultimate subjective experience, but Big Government wants to make transing illegal. Pass it on.
you could have everything. travel the world. feed the poor. learn the job you want. be an artist. study. live in your dream home. build your own workshop. do sports. bungee jumping. gaming. cinema. eat everyday in another fancy restaurant.

Money has a strong diminishing return to happiness. Once you have enough to do what you want, and keep up that lifestyle from investments, youâve âwonâ.
Most who goes past that point are self selected as problematic personalities. Theyâve figured out that more money = more power = more happy. When they are not happy, they obviously need to work harder to get more money. This doesnât make them happy and the feedback loop continues.
I would actually be curious if the curve goes negative after a while. Thereâs a point where more money gets isolating. That is well past the point where the happiness gain becomes negligible too.

Reminds me of the rush I felt the first summer I discovered reading outdoors, but by next year it was gone so I started reading by the lake, and that lasted even less time. I tried reading while drinking tea, listening to music, etc, but I was just chasing the worldâs lamest dragon.
Anyway, as a former addict I could see what this treadmill was.
But I guess if money was no object maybe Iâd be one of those assholes going on a beach vacation to read or something.
i think i read, that you need about 70.000 -100.000⏠(probably a lot more in the US) a year to live in the happiness optimum. more helps, but after a certain sum it starts to make you unhappy again because you loose connection to ânormalâ people, start to get worried about loosing it and your lluxuries start to bore you/ yoi donât value them as much anymore. however having not enough money is clearly more dangerous in a capitalist system to make you unhappy since you loose the freedom of choice and action.
i guess itâs annoying to see what rich people buy with their money since i donât value it that high and value my wishes higher (and i hate âminimal designâ buildings with lawn or even ston gardens when you have clearly enough money to pay for beautiful buildings and a gardener. also fuck golf for having courses in nearly every town).
This also has cause and effect backwards in many cases. People who do awful things are ripe for blackmailing and controlling, so they get inserted/promoted to important positions to act favourably for those running the blackmailing. (eg the Epstein files)
I wonder if its seeking the thrill of something considered taboo? If you can afford everything and everyone you probably start seeking out more more and more extreme forms of âentertainmentâ.
In conclusion no human should be given (close to) absolute power. We just arent made for it.

Iâm really starting to think pedophilia isnât a sexual orientation at all but rather a symptom of some sort of histrionic/narcissistic social/personality disorder.
Thereâs two general types of pedophilia, hebephilia, ephebophilia.
Those who legitimately have a sexual preference disorder typically as a side effect of a wider hormonal or developmental disorder.
These people canât help it, or physically lack the mental awareness to even understand itâs wrong. In most cases itâs manageable one way or another. This is also the only case where fake cp actually has shown actual use as a management and treatment method.
Itâs unpleasant to think about but it is what it is. There is also a lot of nuance here and a short post isnât the greatest way to discuss this topic reasonably.
Then your other type is rape. Its just your standard power play from someone who understands, can make informed choices and does it anyways. Its disgusting and these people should be put to death. Thereâs zero excuse.
I imagine that power is a similar stimulant as drugs. The more you have, the more you want. And with any kind of addiction, it quickly becomes toxic. Youâre wealthy, so you want to be super rich. Once youâre super rich you want to have direct power over people instead of just power through capital. One form of this may be political activities, lobbyism, propaganda, buying land, sport teams etc. Another can be sexual domination and abuse and getting away with it. Itâs all a form of âI can do whatever I wantâ. I guess Trump admitted the sexual dimension several times (âgrab em by the pussyâ).

Can you imagine the outcry from the hardliners of either major US political party if someone with even minor leanings towards their âenemyâ kills one of their elite?
The reality is, while many people say theyâd willingly do that, the vast majority of people have too much to lose if they do, and they know it.
Thatâs the real issue. The political elite have been pushing us right up to the breaking point for 100s of years, and theyâve learned just how far they can go without starting an actual revolution.
It would be interesting if we got some way to crowdfund a defense, but thereâs no way the government would be dumb enough to allow that to happen.

Iâm gonna get roasted alive for this but here we go.
I honestly think that, like a lot of other issues with humanity as a whole, this boils down to the fact that a lot more people are attracted to kids than theyâll ever admit.
I see it the same way with rapists and abusers. No oneâs gonna openly talk about being like that so they donât get caught but the fact that itâs so common tells me itâs not out of character to be done. Especially looking at history and how commonplace it was for grown adults to marry underage kids or sell them into sexual slavery.
There is literally a laundry list of legitimate disorders that have the side effects of stunted sexual age preference. Some are a byproduct of mental disorders that leave people stunted as children themselves mentally. While others are simple hormonal issues and can show up in almost anyone.
The thing is in almost all cases of these itâs just a widened or stunted prefence nothing more or less. Its been shown take fake cp see hentai/furry art etc actually makes an extremely efficient management outlet and reduces harm from this group almost entirely.
The majority of child rape cases do not come from that group. Some do for sure, but itâs very frequently someone with a mental disorder and they fully do not understand or only partially understand what they are doing is wrong.
The large chunk of legitimate cases are from those without documented disorders related to sexual preference disorders. They tend to other issues such as anger management problems, substance abuse, sociopathic or psychopathic issues.
Which is why itâs seen a lot in the rich and power who frequently have sociopathic issues. ASPD is just a general problem in this topic.
And most study has found that fake cp has little to no effect as an effective outlet and management source.
Which is where a lot of the problems come from. You have one group who legitimately can solve the problem with a fake alternative and one that canât.
The one that canât in turn is the most violent and physically abusive prone to have the means and power to act on impulsive.
This is a awful and disgusting topic to most and most just want to lump it all into one hole and basically kill them all.
And while I donât disagree the sociopathic nut jobs who can rationally understand what they are doing is wrong. Should be thrown in a pit to die.
We keep causing more harm than needed trying to fix the problem with a sledgehammer.
Its a complex and nuanced issue, and the research on the topic struggles to get any amount of funding since no one wants their name attached to it. And what does get published tends to get buried and locked away hard. Again cause no one wants to be attached to it.

not to forget alot of scientists and artist for whom being in a VIP boys club and feeling special is apparently more important than being a decent human.

It makes me think of the rich assholes in Alrered Carbon. Theyâve lived so long in the most athletic and pristine âsleevesâ that theyâre essentially bored of life and their whims just get more and more unhinged because they have zero moral checks and balances. Itâs affluenza. Parasites in society that drag us all down with them.

I am still pissed that the third audiobook in the Trilogy was done so poorly that it is essentially unlistenable. Especially given how well the first two were done.
