  Encountered a sus man on the train. He had music up very high, typical junkie, and many people were giving him death stares, which probably wasn’t the best idea considering he could become violent. He was filming out the window on his phone with the flash on, and then turned the camera towards my friend and I, and stared staring. I was considering pressing the emergency button and telling the driver to yeet him off the train, but we just moved to another carriage. I don’t think anyone else really gauged what was going on, because after the man started banging on the train window yelling out, “Benchod”, they probably just avoided his direction.

  When I see junkies around in this city, I know they’re humans going through a rough time, but it’s almost like these people have been bitten by zombies, and need an antidote. Unfortunately it’s not as simple as getting a gun full of goo and they turn back.

  Today is a seasol day. Yesterday was a dynamic lifter day. Drastically underestimated the amount of dynamic lifter but I suppose that’s not a bad thing because of the smell. Will do it in batches.

  And the habanero / thai cross proved to be a very good tree to overwinter. Half the taste of habs but still hot af. Never stopped fruiting over winter (and lost very few leaves). Heaps of buds coming along so looks like early chillies this year.

  Also heading to a gig tonight for the first time in ages. Will be more on the milder side of things so interesting to see what sort of crowd. At any rate looks like a lot of people are going (for that type of music lol) which is good to see.

    That’s looking pretty good, I’m a touch jealous of anyone who has actual plants at the moment.

    I’m planning to use Rooster Booster instead of Dynamic Lifter, then add a bit extra Nitrogen around the leafy crops (probably blood and bone). Maybe some Charlie Carp pellets around the natives.

  dat feel when your boss hits you up at 4:56 on a friday asking for an update on an issue he has literally been emailed every goddamn step of.

  My response was to just forward the last one back to him with reconvene next week bolded. To which of course he wants to know why. I point out the clients are saying that. “but why?” I do not know. fukken ask them. I charge overtime in minimum one hour blocks btw.

  The wind isn’t pleasant, but it is very invigorating. It’s been trying to blow my back fence over, it looks like all of the screws attaching the side fence to the back support have come out so the panel was starting to cave in under the wind pressure. It looks like it’s had a previous repair already as there are few extra holes drilled. I’ve managed to get some more screws in (which was challenging with the wind still trying to blow it over) but I suspect they will work their way out too. When I get a day with less wind I’ll put some rivets in, they should do a better job of holding.

  I also braved the wind to put the mint into it’s pot - it took the entire 25L bag of potting mix plus half a bag of compost, so it definitely should have room to stretch it’s runners out in there.

  Operation UnKAOS is going well.

  I have practically no tidying of cupboards and drawers to do, which is the Fri morning task. I’m already pretty well organised in that regard. Garage is another question but even that is pretty good. That leaves ordinary daily upkeep, a little bit of gardening and afternoons are free. 😊

  Wind is absolutely wild out there. It’s recycling bin day and there are so many boxes and things blowing around the streets it’s crazy. I definitely won’t be doing any gardening today. I could try washing my sheets, they would either blow dry in 10 minutes or get caught by the wind and end up down the street in the dam.

  Many years ago (ok, decades ago) I replicated a coffee and date loaf I got from Baker’s Delight. I haven’t made one for a very long time and can’t remember exactly what I put in it, but I’m going to attempt to recreate it again today. It should add a bit of variety instead of always doing a standard fruit loaf.

  I might do a small white loaf too and a couple of pizza bases. I could do pizza for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow.
