Also noone will laugh at you for 600. If that’s what your gut says it’s ok

Don’t forget you have to prep the workshop (it will take longer then you think, just to learn the app yourself and make notes on how to walk people through and good demos). and maybe do a followuo (email a summary or something). If it takes 6 hours to prep a 3 hour workshop + travel then you are ~12 hours time. 90-100 bucks an hour is cheap for most trainers . I would go for 1000 as a baseline
Of course this totally depends on the value to the customer? Non profit or micro biz or then yep 600 is fine. Is it for giant mining company with bucks to spare - they won’t blink at 3000.
Also if this is the sort of thing people do training for have a scout online and see what others charge for similar training

Yeah I would like to have a day to regroup but it was an awkward time to get away. I bit the bullet and got a woolies delivery of easy but decent food so I don’t have to think too much about food prep. And thanks for the heads up. Hadn’t checked the weather 🥶🥶

I am home. Tropical sun was amazing. Family was …good. I had fun. But I am tired and in dire need of introvert time. Bed at 8 tonight I think. Back to work tomorrow though.

This is correct re GST. If you start getting towards breaching 75k in a year you have to register for gst. Before that you just write clearly on the invoice that no GST is charged (so they know how to put it through for their BAS). www.ato.gov.au/…/registering-for-gst

♥️ oof I know this
I couldn't help making a verse. Spoilered in case that's rude but you made me cry and think how it's a bit different for me now
Some cracks close quietly after so many nights
Some cracks lie until a single flower takes hold
Bright yellow in the dark.
Some cracks I tend tirelessly
Filling in with gold so they SHINE BABY SHINE. Some cracks stay, deeper then ever
Snakes give way to dragons
None shall pass, not even you, child
We will hold and fight, and remember. Quiet now, I know how to tread, where to avoid

Sorry not sorry. I am celebrating surviving this financial year (and our team coming out in good shape) and taking a break from visiting fam with a cheeky dinner for one at a little seafood joint.Crispy skinned Barra in the way…OUTSIDE… listening to the ocean. Oh tropics you can go get stuffed in February but right now you are pretty special.

Yeah that sounds like it might just be a dodgy download. It’s been a while since I played around with other distros (I am old and can’t be bothered and run Ubuntu now) but mint used to be my go to for older machines. It’s lighter then ubuntu

That’s weird - Ive not had that issue but I have to say I am often a bit lazy and don’t check. If it’s not lining up it suggests the download was corrupted. I guess you have tried the download more then once?
If you tell em which distro I would be happy to go through the steps and download and share what I did in case there’s something you are doing wrong (not suggesting there is - I don’t know how much of a computer person you are). But I am travelling so can’t do it this week because I dont want to be downloading over mobile hotspot.

Accidental nap in sun. Off to tropical soup tomorrow for a break so much move and pack and clean. And this place is a bit feral after being sick. Also last day with kitty. I don’t want to have a full time pet but it was very nice. And nice to know I can have a car here - just in case the universe conspires to give me one.

I wash raspberries…then quietly eat them one by one while they are drying so they never usually even make it to the fridge

You two are doing amazing. And take it from a life long procrastinator - it never really changes you just gotta try to let go of the shame. Some people need time for thoughts to digest before they can spew them out at the last moment.
One of my favourite sayings is ‘if something is worth doing it’s worth doing poorly’. Running a dishwasher that’s half new and half stuff you haven’t unloaded, it’s fine. Better to get something out and assessed even if it’s not perfect. It’s a hell of a lot better then it would be if it were not done. Nothing will ever match the idea in your head, but it probably doesn’t need to. Big hugs

Yeah. That would also explain the ridiculous brain fog…Well either way its a lot milder then the one time I had confirmed covid (hallucinating fever bad). All the better to stay at home in my oodie for the next cold days
