- can of stout to cook some of the mince with, because I feel retro and savoury mince would be the bomb

I recommend trying Jazz apples if you haven’t. I’m addicted to them currently.

I have a glass teapot with an infuser thing I bought from T2 years ago. I just boiled some water, put two teaspoons of catnip into the infuser and into the teapot with the hot water. I let it steep for 2 minutes. I then poured it into the bowel shown and added cold water so it wasn’t super hot.
I like doing it, because he really likes playing with water when it isn’t running water haha

First trip to Aldi. It’s like being in an uncanny valley supermarket.
I ended up walking up and down the aisles for a while.
Was really cheap for the stuff I need. So score!

I think part of it is they don’t play any music. It makes sense as they don’t need to pay royalties then. And their checkout people get to sit in chairs so they don’t need to take breaks.
Once you realise everything about Aldi is doing things as cheaply as possible it all starts to make sense

Work up way too early and couldn’t get back to sleep so put on my big girl pants and went out to do the errands.
Aldi run done, cat litter and replacement gas cylinder for the soda King bought, replacement water jug filters and one of the Kmart Stanley mugs bought since I damaged the other one. Also filled up the car at the cheap petrol place on Kingston road.

Crash napped and woke in the night.
Yesterday was the specialist, Melbcat seems to have kicked the uti! Unfortunately there’s not much to be done to prevent them happening. She also will be getting B12 shots. The specialist is happy with how she’s being cared for and has given the green light for many treats.
I’m finding the Dove beauty bar a bit drying so I might relax a bit and get a supermarket creamy cleanser. I’m also getting rid of the scented soap and a multipack of cheap toothbrushes that are really rough on my gums.
I wanted to cut out any extra products to reduce spending, clutter and fuss. But unfortunately my skin is really sensitive. Perhaps it’s good to know I can live very minimally if the situation calls for it, but let myself have a few things if it doesn’t.

Assignment due tonight with an extension. Almost finished it and then I realised I missed something that means I have to change the whole thing. I start work at 7am tomorrow, so I don’t have time to stay up and redo it. I’m going to have to start it again tomorrow and take the late submission.

One them quaint Terry Pratchett shows.
A cute way to spend 3 hours watching telly ( but 3 hours is enough cute. )

Skyfall. ( again )
This movie really does look beautiful, so many awesome scenes/shots.
Takes itself too seriously for me to overlook the sheer absurdity of the escapades and the way M is involved in day to day ops. 🙄 I’m pre.tty sure they would have divisions and teams and team leaders and handlers and such. Someone like Bond prolly wouldn’t even ever go to head office .
