I’m sick to death of being treated like a potential thief at self service.
I hate pulling the race card, but it’s noticeable how different I’m treated. And it’s gotten much worse since the cost of living issues.
They will come and literally stand behind me watching me scan everything. Im not dressed in rags or anything. Even when I’m on business work clothes.
Some of those checkout people seem to have gone crazy with the modicum of perceived power they have over people.

Relationship officially over.
He didn’t even want to talk it out. Just said we are done over text and blocked me everywhere.
This is going to be a time of growth for me. Only up from here!

Skimming through your comment history…and yikes.
You’ll be better off in the long run.

this was from the dude with the disgusting valentines card yeah? First up, I’m sorry. Second of all, and again sorry if this sounds rough, but I am CERTAIN you’re gonna look back on this relationship and be glad its over. Probably not today or tomorrow, but that day is coming. Take a deep breath in and out, cause you’re free of that asshole.

You deserve wayyyyyy better than that guy was giving you!

Ooh rough.
Over text is a bit fucked tbh you might have dodged a bullet there

I’m sorry for the pain he has caused you, but the trash took itself out. Block them back, just in case they get drunk and weird, and leave them in the past.
You got this!

I’m also sorry to hear but probably for the better that you’re not with him.
You deserve someone way better than that.

Ah man. I remember how giddy and excited you were when first meeting the guy. But it sounds like it’s all for the best now (what a dropkick breaking up with you via text). And you’re very much ready to move on yourself.
You’re better off without the guy, and I think this experience will be a great one to take note of what worked + what didn’t. Pay attention to what you felt you needed from him (that kept you in the relationship) and try to find other sources for that, or interrogate the quality of what you were getting, so as to avoid going back to him in a moment of loneliness and/or inebriation ;)
You got this!!! 💪

@LowExperience2368 @Seagoon_ Lots of hugs.
I've been there before.
Breakups are the worst — even if he's a complete and utter jerk (and from the sounds of it, he definitely is).
Know that it's natural to cry, it's natural to mourn.
And if you have a sleepless night, no-one will begrudge you if you take a day off work or cancel your plans for tomorrow.
There's no rush. Give yourself time to grieve.
It might take time, but know things will get better.

I’m sorry. That sounds devastating.
He was no prize though. He was noncommittal, self centred, and consistently treated you like an option. I agree with the advice to block him everywhere in case he comes back sniffing around again.
I hope these offer some comfort
