Mate i dont much care who beats them I’m happy to watch america get their asses kicked all the live long day. Always an added bonus if its the “snow aussies” (I recently heard them called that) take a win as well.

Nah. Anyone can finish late. Its how many people you help (and how many times you help them along the way) that really counts.

yeah I makes it a lot more tolerable that she always had a finite amount of time and all that could be done was done. makes the time we spent all the more precious.

I got a bit more news. For the morbidly curious I guess.
More Sad Stuff
turns out she had too many genetic faults, Nothing anyone could have done. She wasnt in pain. Thank Christ. I was terrified her previous owner had abused her or we’d failed her in some way. The rescue wont tell us what the vet bill costs so they are just getting a donation in her memory.

gonna do it to their face? Or send an email and wait for them to come over?
- Comment on Daily Discussion Thread: Thursday 20th February 2025 1 day ago:
same! I even set up a damn facebook again. I was so excited seeing those guys adopted last week but was starting to get a bit worried. I thought maybe they’d renamed her or something. but yeah. Guess we were her last home.

Got some crap news last night.
Very Sad don't read if your not up to it
The animal rescue reached out to us the other week to ask if we’d noticed anything wrong with Jill (the rescue kitten). Apparently she had some balance issues or trouble using a back leg. We were sort of steeling ourselves that she might come back to us (we told them if she had any trouble finding a home she was always welcome with us.) They were talking her to the vet to get checked over. We hadn’t heard anything so followed up yesterday only to find she didnt make it. She passed shortly after we spoke to them the other week. They dont know exactly what was wrong, but she apparently had some issues. We are shattered. She wasnt even our cat but… fuck man. just… fuck.

Just had to change my NBN again thanks to NBNs shitty 6 months deals. Exetel were the cheapest with $65.99 for 100/20 Mbps for 6 months. But the kicker was 100 bucks on top cash back (in like 6 months). If you feel like changing let me know, I think I can get a referral code for you. Dont know if that gives both of us a discount or just me though.

apparently they have a deal with bunnings to make replacements as easy as possible. They’d rather have a few used and abused tools returned and have people think they are great than argue over abuse or misuse.

but I was firm today and said it wouldn’t make sense for me to move organisations for a paycut.
for a substantial paycut. no. But if its less work and less likely to make you wanna jump infront of a moving train then thats worth considering.
