It’s magnesium sulfate, mangnoplam splinter gel is pretty much Epsom and a carrier like solugel or Sorbonne.

It creates some osmotic pressure to pull edema. It’s a bit of an old timey solution. Whenever I recommend it to clients I was sure to inform them that the science was weak.

Yeah, I’ve hurt my knee. Pes anserine bursitis at a very educated guess. Got a bag of Epsom salt glad wrapped to it… And elevated.

I swear my dog knows the sound of cheese being grated. Mind you for tax time, I can make it rain (cheese) for him.

I love when the government calls on a private number and asks me to confirm my name, DOB, address, etc. “Absolutely not, I have no way of confirming who you are”. They seem shaken by the process given their atrocious security protocol there’s no way I’m giving a private number any of that info.

I worked in an office where one of the systems guys refused to wear shoes. Hr made him sign a waiver. I don’t really care about no shoes. I don’t find it gross.

I find them incredibly easy to separate. I get mozzies half of the year leaving the doors open so the dog can go for a wee at night. I use a coil most nights and have broken less than five in a few years of doing this. Pry the tails apart, splitting them off the coil, then gently with each hand pull/jiggle them apart until they’ve separated, easy peasy.
-
Lighting them joined together does work, but the lit one singes the unlit one. When lighting the second one it burns for about 1/3 less of the time due to the slight singe through the whole thing.

Fuck /r/australia and it’s uptight mods.

Got the 18v blower, hedge trimmer, cylinder mower and angle grinder. Took photos with the receipt of each at purchase. Returned the cylinder mower with a fault, bunnings replaced it with minimal hassle.

They’ll probably start you in the laundry room for three months. It’s a pretty easy four hour shift doing industrial laundry and delivering clean towels to the areas. I later moved to kennels. The laundry shift is great in winter, it’s really warm with the big dryers. I left because a kennel tech cracked the shits at me for playing with a ‘red’ coded dog that I’d asked the lead tech about. The dog wasn’t aggressive but it was strong and would jump at people with an open mouth creating a bite risk. I’m also a big strong dude so I was trying to help socialise the dog in a calm manner and the mid range tech came in an yelled at me without knowing the full story so I quit.

When I volunteered at Lort Smith, many people were there to build up their resume for animal/vet roles. In case you’re looking for more ways to get good things on your resume.

I kinda feel like I should marry someone from a less desirable country even just as a favour to them. There’s some real shitholes out there where even struggling in Australia would be an improvement.

You current place sounds like a cross between thunderdome and a sinking ship. I’d try to leverage you current salary against the new offers, but, assuming they’re all over $75k, I’d accept a 10% hit for a job at a better place. At the first performance review I’d be pressing for them to at least match the old salary.

New bike rides an absolute treat. I’ve missed bicycle rock star parking where I can ride up to the door of a place and lock it to the nearest pole. The seat is hard as, but my bum is also lacking conditioning.

When I was a local it turned the area into a drunk street mess. It’s already a pretty touristy place, adding a few thousand rowdy street drinkers ruined it for me.

Bought a new to me bike. A cheap racer. Save me lugging and parking my steel touring bike around town. If the cheap racer gets pinched, it’s a bother but not the end of the world. Spent the day setting it up. Unfortunately my marathon tyres don’t fit so I’m sticking with the 23mm contis it came with.

I got my XM3 cans May 2019 and they’re still going great. Somewhat grotty as I also use them as ear muffs. I’ve probably used them at minimum 4h a day 4 days a week in that time. Still finish the day with about 50% charge left in them. The XM5s don’t fold down which could be a travel concern but I haven’t actually folded my xm3s away very often. I went to Amsterdam for a few months so used the case on the plane. I have a big head so tend to prop them above my ears as required, vs my friends wife who can wear them as a bit of a necklace. I see the XM5s on sale on ozbargain pretty often.
- Claiming things on tax really depends on which tax bracket you’re paying. eg, I’d only be getting 30% back because I don’t earn a lot. If you’re paying 47% tax it’s a bigger discount.
- Ew, not for me.
- I’d probably do this personally, you can still claim the XM5s on tax.
- Ew.
I’d consider Airpods Pro Gen 2 as I hear great reviews of them. The sony cans can get hot in summer, I also have an Aftershokx bone conduction headset which are great in the heat, but don’t “block” any sound as they keep my ear canals open - for cycling.
