  Firstly, I dont condone war or violence, I think we are smart enough to resolve issues without it now.

  But generally speaking, there are massive benefits if youre the winner in a conflict. New resources, new land, new labor force (assuming you dont wipe everyone out completely), reinforcement of your culture and ideaologies, and more. Theres a reason violece is inherit to human nature, it has a long history as a viable and successful strategy.

  This would effectively stop the flights yes, thats the point. It shows the labor their doing is necessary,and theyre the only ones who can do it. So they should be paid becuase thats what a fucking job is.

  Light from stars tells us how big they are then adjust for things that don’t emit light by looking at how objects move (i.e. gravity). Objects in this case not necessarily being single entities but often groups of things like entire galaxies. This is basically how dark matter became a thing. Scientists were like “hey theres waaaay more gravity moving things around but we dont see any objects causing it…”
