      It’s a shame, because they have been involved in some great games. Especially early on, with games like time shift and inversion (but being pretty good lower budget games), and the World War Z and leading into Space Marine 2 withe their fun horde tech.

      Their stance here though is the nail in the coffin though, well maybe shotgun to the feet. Will steer clear of them now.

  This is probably the wrong audience to ask but if you don’t give a shit at all about the quality of the music, why not just use royalty-free music? Isn’t that easier? And cheaper?

  I just don’t understand this shit at all. You’re Coca-Cola and spend $5 b-b-billion/year on advertising but you’re gonna skimp and save like $1k on paying a human to create quality content and instead just outsource it to shitty AI-generated images? WTF is happening?

    Also, 100% agree. If something is so meaningless that you could give it to a robot, just chuck $500 at the nearest idiot with a guitar or throw royalty free classical music or make up some garbage song

  The fact that people are spending so much time in games doing something menial they could be actually doing in real life, bothers me terribly.

  I mean, wasting hundreds of hours in a game isn’t exactly healthy, but I completely understand why you’d want to be a super elf or explorer Big Boobassa or a magic plumber escaped from the drudgery of the poo or any of the others. But, not cleaning your room so you can play “Clean Your Room”, in which you are a regular human and it takes just as long to clean but in the end you still have a baseball hat full of cream cheese under your bed in the real world, speaks to a mind and society of eldrich horrors withering souls to tiny raisins and collecting them like candy for aerernal snacking.
